No. We’re highly likely to lose with this useless coach and game plan and an improved Carlton side. If we continue to bomb it in long to the forwards and then fail to run back to man up on the opposition forwards we’re highly likely to have the same result as most games last year and the first game this year. It’s pretty obvious.

Yes it’s a breach of Laidley’s privacy and a breach of ethics and decency. The policeman has behaved in a disgraceful way and hopefully will be sacked. Laidley also looks like he might be in trouble, probably because he’s been up to no good, and the truth about that will hopefully emerge too.

Neither of these players was the greatest player in that period of time. Is that really what you mean or are you just making a comparison between two players?

I certainly hope the hopeless coach is reviewing round 1 with every player with respect to the lack of spread inside the fifty, bombing it long without looking for a clear target, and two way running, manning up in defense all the way back from our end to theirs. It looks like we need a monster inside fifty who can split packs and kick goals. That’s if we stick with this same game plan as last year. Or a new coach....

Perhaps you didn’t notice them kicking a whole lot more goals than us. Easily and freely passing to each other on the way to easy goals.

Harley was a great, exciting player when he started in that hopeless team. If only we’d had him then! If he can show some of his great skills again it’d be fabbo!
