Our style of play and failure to convert our fwd 50s has cost us another flag! Yet nothing changes & Goodwin continues to lose games in the same way, at what stage is held accountable??

As usual to script can’t score , coping goals in the last minute … Goodwin we are going backwards , fwd issues continue for 4 seasons, no fwds who can hold a mark! How about leaving JvR instead of flogging him as a ruck

He did go thru tough times mentally losing his father & also he’s own cancer issues, goes to show moving state doesn’t fix the underlying issues! We got May which formed part of the best premiership defenders! After he’s Freo exit our list mgrs spoke but @ the time would have been high risk?? Goes to show having power fwds like hogan & Cameron would help our fwd issues no end since 21 flag, why our club hasn’t been able to find one, is it cap space or no one wants to come to the MFC

Understand that but we’re is the flexibility in 2-3 years if any player wants move back home & the contract is large, having to pay a large chunk to pay for another club ..

Love kozzie great talent etc and wrapt he’s staying but just a question on what is impact on these long term contracts from a list mgt perspective, does it impede on attracting talent through free agency or players coming out of contract or on the existing talent at the club, with long term deals to trac, Oliver they are hard to manage if things change

Luv kozzie great talent but will all these long contracts impact our ability to trade in talent eg free agents, impact to hang onto remaining talent due to less $$

Watching hall of fame & seeing Hodge talk about his time at the hawks and the 4 flags in particular the 3 peat was all about how selfless he & the players were….we managed to do this for one season & watching May & Gawn it’s shows how far have we are off the pace, I hate pies but their players wouldn’t have yelled at their captain!

Same issues since 2022, more inside 50, clearances, centre clearances , hit outs, Long bombs continue, poor trading & failure to address our lack of a power fwd, it’s like a broken record watching it & hearing Goodwin say the same stuff! He’s had 3 seasons to fix this! How is Jvr meant to develope as a fwd playing ruck??? What’s stopped the club chasing players like Membry & Mcstay?? Surely our list mgt needs to be held to account or we just don’t have cap space, or we are not a destination club! Our disposal by foot from our best players eg Oliver , Trac etc not up to par

The game plan should be working but players are going long to a 1v2 or 3 & ignoring free players who could attack free space, this has been happening for the last 3 seasons, so who’s to blame, either Goodwin can’t fix it or our players are thickheads!

A review was done last year on our culture which seems not to be working with May as you lose & win as a team!, but another one needed to analyse both our game plan with constant bombing & why we can’t trade in or develop a key fwd! How is Jvr meant to develop when he’s rucking part time?

So who is our next power fwd??? Club either refuses or haven’t been able to attract any decent fwd for last 3 seasons, when is our next Neitz who retired in 08 or Schwartz retired in 02!

Plenty of footage shows free players calling for it yet the obsession to bomb is utterly dumb, lower your eyes and vision , our finishing by Trac & Oliver isn’t great! Yeah they win it but if ur finishing isn’t there .. means stuff all

Agree the kid will ask for a trade, having to ruck and not focus on his fwd craft, yet see who pies have traded in exp , membrey mcstay, Schultz, vs zip, why do wee need fwds when we have defenders turning into fwds

Own worst enemy & either players are thickhead or Goodwin just can’t get them to stop bombing it long, ignoring free players over & over honestly it’s just stupidity! Decision making by senior players, Petty going for glory on the boundary, Fritsch playing on. The umpiring was total BS
