Which sums up our club! Nothing against Guerra but why have we chosen someone with zero football experience?? Considering all the issues we’ve had as bd the skill set of how clubs function etc not mention that a new CEO should he been in the chair to make key decisions around the football dept! The buck does stop with Goodwin, he’s currently 7-18 and no finals win since 21! Who’s responsible for the culture issues and the Oliver issue, why was he given senior games after missing pre season, that’s culture setting. The football dept responsibility of list mgt & the poor trade selections to improve our list, compare us against last 3 premiers who they have traded in is Richardson accountable for this?? Need sweeping changes and yes Goodwin needs to go

Comparing this to 186 is chalk & cheese … the list now is far better & we were winning not getting flogged… but I agree it highlights we have issues from coaching to footy dept & there are issues within the playing group, they are not totally unified and or are over Goodwin just like majority of supported & members and why he should remain if only financial is a reflection of our poorly run club once again!

Why was he extended in 23 after an extension in 22 which would have finished in 24???

Issues within the senior playing group as those issues with Trac around standards and culture last year haven’t mended, they are not connected, coaching issues from Goodwin and footy dept, rumours wether true or not is Goodwin has his favourites and dosent engage with the younger players. The obvious is Goodwin to be moved on but whole footy dept & improve line coaches along. Need to look to trade Oliver..

Spot on the inability to stop their momentum early on in the last qtr is at question though not discounting the pathetic 6,6,6 balls up! Definitely issues within the playing list which has been evident since 24, Leadership from senior players, they don’t seem connected, the coaching from Goodwin & his assistants, it’s been bashed to death but same issues since late 22, he just can’t fix the issues going fwd, game plan is flawed!

Strong united clubs have strong leadership groups who react accordingly when momentum changes, we don’t have unity or strong leadership group! There are issues within that haven’t been fixed across the whole footy dept, no question Goodwin is cooked failed to fix ongoing problems since 22 but our assistant coaches are an issue! Never thought that cliff would come so quickly with such a young group of premiership players!

Comes down to training for these situations, coaching instructions, senior players barking orders, were a team not connected anymore void of leadership a poor coaching from Goodwin down. Interest to see any trade request whist our asleep at the wheel board having blind faith in a coach/footy dept for 5 mins of glory in 60 yrs

Surely Lyon has to accept Goodwin isn’t the man anymore! Lyon was part of a similar loss against Essendon got run over in the last qtr, was Northey last season in 92…

The issues run deeper, Goodwin needs to go but the whole footy dept & line coaches, not acceptable! The senior players something isn’t right and not sure they believe in plan or Goodwin, our list mgt decisions to hear Goodwin say we need the 24-28 yo players wtf have they been doing since 22???

Anyone still want to defend Goodwin! The leaders should be embarrassed of this and question their long contracts are you serious??? Issues confirmed across the coaching & footy dept. It’s not change for the sake of change his message & ability to react and make moves is clearly not working! Enough of the love! The list needs tough love a new voice, the protect species are all accountable for were we sit member since 98 & for the first time considering not renewing more than the Neeld era because it’s what we had and how they have managed to sink so low so quick You see pies , cats, lions still contending and the dribble from Goodwin we are building something … wow we had something and the coaches & list mgt blew it!

Goodwin had a list that won a flag vs Clarko & Mcq who took over lists in rebuild, Goodwin has managed to drive us back into rebuild mode, an amazing achievement

I agree finding the right person but it stems deeper than just the coach .. footy dept, list mgt, using the cats as a benchmark we are way off, you don’t fluke playing finals 16 of the last 18 years. We need change to filter through the whole footy dept & list mgt strategy. Watching Cameron kick 11 goals albeit against a poor side and yet our best fwds are a 34 yo melksham & Pickett

Not a Clarkson fan but are you ok with Goodwin back to back bottom 6 finishes? Currently 5 less wins than in 24!

Point is Scott as a coach has reinvented himself to challenge albeit twice, highlights our much better run club they are with stability and a clear list mgt strategy, Goodwin isn’t 100% responsible but majority of were we are lays with him

Cats leading North by 100 points with a coach in his 15th season, we lost to north by 59 points, if this isn’t proof of how far Goodwin is of the pace, our list management is very poor when you consider the cats haven’t bottomed out, fed up watching the cats stay relevant vs 5 mins of sunshine

That’s poor mgt by the club! Why was he extended in 22 deservedly so but again in 23, no need for it, should have been moved on in 24 & a clean out of footy dept with all the mismaned culture issues

The dogs have only beaten 1 x top 8 side and confirms the fixture by the afl is flawed as it’s possible they may play finals due to flogging bottom teams twice with % boosters.

Premiership aside and yes hard to win etc and grateful to Goodwin his record outside of 21 & 18 is very poor and what grounds should he be staying considering we are heading for another bottom 4-6 finish, he’s talking of building something when we had something and blew it! Talking to a retired Daniher to fix our fwd issues when we have failed miserably to trade in anyone in the last 4 years!

Yet the board concern of having to pay out Goodwin vs another bottom 6 finish what are the real costs… their strategy of trying to lure Daniher is comical at best and highlights we have issues attracting talent!

The current scoreline of the hawks highlights how poor we are and Goodwin BS od building something …the blind faith our board is giving him is a joke

If true We are clutching at straws and reinforces how [censored] we are that we need to chase retired players and a player who is mentally switched off, our inability to attract current players is what should be questioned, Goodwin is saying we will improve via the draft & now chasing a retired has been , what a joke
