  1. So better than Hogan! Hogan career 2.1 goals per game & 0.6 goal assists.
  2. Poor effort by the medical/coaching team to leave him on the ground in a practice match, we could have played one short for part of a practice match now we don't have him available for 6 weeks!
  3. All this does raise the possibility that he may ask for a trade back to Melbourne at some stage, to get away from .... the issues in WA. Would we have him back? Second round pick? 3rd?
  4. I was responding to this - "Watts is around 12kg heavier than Fritsch, yet the level of physicality they play with is the inverse of their respective weight, so I don't think it's such a huge issue -- Coldstream EDFL Vs Brighton Grammar private school boy mentality. I think many stereotypes are unhelpful. I probably could have worded it better.
  5. So much angst & truculence today. Are we all feeling toey? Bring on the footy. Go Dees!
  6. Making assumptions again. Look it up - https://www.macmillandictionary.com/dictionary/british/vigourhttps://www.thefreedictionary.com/vigour vigour - active strength of body or mind https://www.yourdictionary.com/vigour Active strength or force of body or mind; capacity for exertion, physically, intellectually, or morally; force; energy. Please don't respond, I'm over it Balls
  7. I think Jesse has a few problems. Thankfully they are no longer our problems, good luck to him but I feel he is a troubled soul and looking for answers in all the wrong places.
  8. Some stereotypes are tedious, I think it shows a lack of intellectual vigour. I am surprised that you think a poster that goes by the name Balls Grinter needs your help, perhaps she is your little sister or you have two names on here and you are Balls. You know that is not allowed don't you? How could you know "that 'Balls' refuses to engage in a battle of wits with an unarmed person, " if it were not you? Anyway Balls you know what they say about people from Adelaide.
  9. I remember. I'm here all week. I'll let myself out.
  10. Balls you seem to have a bit of a chip on your shoulder, get over it. Perhaps the stereotype that if you went to a public school therefore you are, tough, stupid and from a lower class family fits? But I don't buy that, time to give up the private school stereotypes and I won't call you a Range Rover driver from Mt Buller.
  11. Despite thinking the Bulldogs have sold their soul, I would still support our Demons if they wore pink , puce, magenta or mauve as long as it did not clash with the umpires.
  12. LDVC, putting on a superhero jumper does not change the players behavior, it trivialises their unique skills and our unique game.
  13. Perhaps, but how did they get there?
  14. When I was a kid AFL players appeared to be superheroes by their acts and deeds not because of some stupid comic.
  15. If you have the ball all the time who do you tackle?
  16. One of these at the end (?) would have helped me to not having to read it 5 times. Edit: Having written that noticed what a convoluted sentence it was. 2nd Edit: Stop now while I am behind.
  17. Ernie, did you see the photo? He was running on a soccer pitch covered in snow. Soccer players complain about Docklands being a cow paddock. I would think it safer than running on a beach.
  18. The beauty of football is the football. We do not need fireworks or half time entertainment. We need more football. The best sporting event I have been to was watching the under 19's the reserves and the 1st's play footy, what a day! No fireworks, no imported Americanisation, no meatloaf other than my mums sandwiches and don't forget the McLelland Trophy.
  19. Trouble with that is that they would have to find it before they could measure it.
  20. The players are already carrying electronic devices, give them earpieces.
  21. Can you imagine a pilot turning up to work in tracky dacks and thongs? AFL players play in teams, when they go to work they should be part of the team and look like it. When not in work mode they can wear fluffy slippers and a tutu as far as I am concerned.
