Apart from the obvious - Tulip, I think Gary Lyon often gets forgotten. He was supremely talented and a big game player. Yze was also a personal favourite.

Sparrow was central to 4 goals in the Grand Final. I think he has become a first choice player.

Champion data produce excrement. Salem, Gawn and Fritter are elite, as evidenced by their performance in the final series and Max in that last game against Geelong that got us the minor premiership. Part of being elite is the ability to perform in a final series and big games and those 3 were magnificent in that environment. They probably don't include finals in their calculations and if not, that is a major deficiency.

They should give Dr Arain a call

Reading Max Gawn’s book in which he lists deceased former players. Steven Armstrong is there which came as a surprise to me. Does anyone know what happened to him? I saw him play a great grand final for the Eagles and was very happy for him.

Barry Bourke would be in the top 50. Has to rank higher than Dom Tyson and most of the others in the list.
