Hard to see a player with poor physicality such as Weed will be any good in the ruck but there is no one else, assuming Daw is unavailable.

Why was Daw not playing for Casey? I am not sure he is available.
I would think a ruckman will require longer to recover due to the load on the ankle because of his height and weight and the force required to spring in a ruck contest.
the most telling stat is that we have gone from first to seventeenth for pressure acts. That surely is a mental thing or fitness or fatigue or a combination.
