I"m afraid at an organizational level there is still a lot of ignorance and just plain bad attitude to mental health issues - the Police force are very cynical about the impact of PTSD, Centrelink write off people with a mental health issues and try and push them into inappropriate work placements. It goes on and on. I would have hoped footy clubs were better. Anyway all the best to him.

It is very easy to under-estimate Charlie Spargo but if you go through the highlights of all our matches this season it is surprising how often he was involved in important goals. He is smart, recognizes his limitations and always chooses the right option - and he has just turned 19. I am an unabashed fan. Jeff at his best is great but i fear that he has got a lot to prove before he gets to play in the firsts again. His form for Casey was disgraceful.

The football department obviously believe premierships are won with a gun midfield and backline. Hard to argue with that but I think we are one tall forward short. Otherwise a very impressive list, probably the best in my time as a fan.

It seems we have a lot of similar types, mainly big bodied mids. Would have thought an extra tall like Bailey Williams would have had added a bit of variety.
