    Versatility is Pedo’s strength and his Casey form has been outstanding. I know that doesn’t translate to the firsts but with Maxxy sore and OMac and Frost uncertain in their ability to thwart buddy it is a common sense selection.

    I always thought we wouldn’t get far with Harmes and ANB in the side. I was very wrong - both have become important cogs in the wheel.

    Wallace on SEN made the point that the teams that have nullified Franklin have done so by having a mobile player on him and a marking player behind. If so this may mean Pederson gets the gig backing up Frost who will be his direct opponent. would like to see Kent or Hunt replace Bernie or JKH.

    I thought OMac was quite good last week. Bernie Vince I think is the worry down back. Towelled up by Sexton last week.

    I was going on what the Freo Medical report to the tribunal said that he would require years of dental work. So it’s not just the cost of the implants. I’m not sure about the detail. Safe to say it will be very costly.

    You know what insurers are like they’ll only fork out for the bare minimum and not necessarily the ongoing costs.

    I reckon Gaff and/or Methcoast should bear financial responsibility for the many years of dental work to follow - could easily be more than $100,000 for implants and the like.

    Gaff is genuinely hurting and remorseful - Methcoast and Simpson on the other hand have been an absolute disgrace implying provocation and it being an accident. Disgusting performance by them.

    He swung a punch spontaneously- he wouldn’t have had time to think about where it may have landed. A poor defence. The fact that landed where it did and caused the damage that it did makes him culpable whatever the supposed intention. He has forfeited the right to play again this year - but I hope he is allowed to move on after he’s served his time.

    Credit must go to Jade Rawlings - Gus, Tyson and Garlett have emerged much better players following their stint at Casey. Wouldn’t be surprised to see him get a senior job.
