I find it incredible that nobody is talking about the head knock. That knock has been checked out all season, but this time nothing. Was it last week or the week before, where the AFL doctors went into the rooms to check on a players shoulder??? Yet here's a head knock and they ignore it, now the media is ignoring it as well. Especially since half of the city of Geelong is suing the AFL over head injuries, I find it incredible.

Fair dinkum this guy is invisible to umpires. He should've had a free kick for blocking inside the first 2 mins tonight, and kicked the first goal of the game. But no, nothing to see here. It's been happening all season, constantly held and blocked out of marking contests. Watching other games, players are being paid these blatant frees, but not JVR. What is he doing wrong, and what does he have to change for umpires to see this happening? Is it related to him getting off the suspension we successfully appealed?

To me he seems like the perfect bloke to debut against the grubs. He doesn't take a backward step on the field. He's almost the anti-Watts. Love him, get him in!

The most successful period for this club in the last 50 years came about through the Jackson/Roos recruitment, of which Goodwin became a part of. This puts a full stop on that connection and we are doing it ourselves. Historically that's been tragic for the MFC. I hope to hell you're all proven correct in that Goody had to go, and that we nail his successor. If not this will set us back a decade again, and we'll be once again looking for a Messiah. I know I'm in the minority, but I personally don't believe we were that far off, and a bounce next year was more than likely. I don't feel that now. Time will tell.

That's exactly what the rule is already. But that isn't the issue here. 3 players attempted to touch the ball prior to crossing the line, yet only 2 of those were checked during the review. The one player that touched the ball was never looked at. I was screaming at the tv at the time, sounds like a few were. It was not a fair review, in fact it was as if the reviewer was actively trying to avoid where the ball was touched. There's enough evidence this season alone to prompt an AFP investigation into AFL umpiring, and I believe the same in the NRL. Make it happen.

Did they announce what steps they're going to take to ensure it doesn't happen again? Or was it more of a 'soz, not soz'?
