Had a sibling wore no.69 for Balwyn reserves,kicked 10 goals 6 behinds. Didn't receive a vote for his effort. One goal was a seventy metre(70),so there is "gotta" be something in a number. Yet another fella playing for some other reserves tam kick 8 goals six behinds wearing no.69 received 2 votes. Probably a number has an influence on the umps regardless. This is subjective matter. Perhaps 50 shades of black and white.

I think Tim and Jimmy are a bit like some of us, always expecting the worst. I suppose when you look at it,we still can't be trusted. My gut feeling is that T.Smith and J.Smith will come into the side. We will confuse the oppo. with Smiths and McD running around. The perception is that we the Dees are expected to do better than Collingwood,thou both sides were blown away by the Tiges in the last quarter. So we will cop "crap" from the media and supporters ( who are of little importance these days) for under performing,the Woods will get less flack. We also don't have the "cattle" to match Richmond at this point in time. Perhaps that's what you get being a Dee supporter.

Will getting games into Weed be the the deprement of our team, a weak link could lead to us missing the eight (again). I am all for him to rotate between the seniors and the reserves.
