If we beat the crows this week, does still mean we havn't beaten anyone? An away win surely must count.

Making the finals this year is not a major concern to me, we are not going to get the silverware. We must try and get ourselves a first round pick by doing so we might have to give up Hogan. Gaff would be a bonus but if we don't it is not end of the world. When the other red head comes on in Baker and the possibility of Hunt,J.Smith becoming mids/whatever next year we will have an awesome midfield. I would expect Petty to step up. Weids rucking/forward could come of age. I would keep Pedo but I would get rid of Vince, Lewis ,Tyson, JKH ,Dion, Flip or King and offer Nat a transfer (Hawks and Wood loves aged Demons). Above average Vfl players get games over average Vfl players but when those better Vfl players get their chance and constantly fail then you have to then rely on the average Vfl players and hope that somebody can step up. Don't be surprised an average player in Baker gets a game.

This club is been killing me for the past 54yrs. On a positive note there is not much difference between the 2nd and 10th side.,so missing the 8 would be a little sad. We need to go for a top quality mid, probably a defender and forward. The introduction of the two new clubs and the "dummies" running our club has caused us major set backs for success. We could end up delisting up to ten players season's end. The replacements for Viney, Lever and Hibberd are in the same class. (JKH,Tyson and J.Smith) We need to find a niche area other than ruck for King and Flipov,as they or one can be asset in the near future. If we get Gaff, the Ginga ninja becomes a second Oliver where does Jones stand in the team for 2019. Lewis and Vince probably will be gone.

I wonder if Corey W be worried if Josh W gets shunted by the Dees. Good win anyway.

Would love to see Vanders,Weid,McK and Baker play really well.Gives you a good feeling that we have half decent back ups.

West Coast can offer Gaff more ,but may not do so if we can offer them someone of value like a Kent plus someone else. Regarding a backup ruckman, seems the Weed is be tried in the 2nds.Based on that no need for 2M Peter. King and Flipo may become the 3rd ruckman and therefore will be required to play elsewhere. Bradtke will become a project ruckman for the future. We need another mid,forward and defender.

Interesting to see Tyson being selected again, another "revolving door" player. It is a pity he didn't end up in the same class as Caddy. By memory they were no.1 and no. 2 draft picks respectively for GWS. What is the point of keeping a player who is a champion reserves player?

Whilst I remember in our 2015 win v Geelong at the Cattery we used 2 ruckmen in Gawn and Spencer.

Perhaps Keilty will be given a go.J.Smith probably will replace Hibberd. Don't be surprised if Ginja Ninja gets a go.

Picking Spargo and Garlett in the one side has merits. If Spargo shows that he is asset this time around that may be the catalyst that Jeffrey needs. Jeffrey doesn't play well in the reserves,yet dropping him for one match only is enough punishment . Once again we have picked a revolving "door" player and dropped one. Frost in ,Tyson out. When are these type of players going to step up? I am still waiting for Petracca's break out year !!!!! or was that break out moment.

In Spargo,Garlett,Vince,Frost,Baker and left field Keity or Dion J........... out Petty,ANB,Hannah,Tyson,Petracca and Jones or Lewis. Garlett doesn't do much in the two's,but has class. Cannot afford Jones and Lewis in the same side both are sloppy and slow. Frosty is another revolving door player,we must find his niche position. Dion J needs his chance,also same for Keilty.

We seem to have a lot of revolving door players ,Tyson in,Tyson out,Frost in,Frost out. Pedo in,Pedo out. All of a sudden we are looking fragile. For now we must dump the two captain policy,Vince has to go.(expiry date last week) . We drastically need Petracca to step and become a champion midfielder,currently we do not have the class. Baker could be given a go.

Garlett doesn't seem to do much in the reserves, but he is worth a recall to the seniors. Cannot keep Vince and Lewis in same side,so I think Vince has to go,best days are behind him, Petty needs a go,for the fresh "blood" reason.( vampires not welcomed).T.Smith not yet senior player and may never be,so he needs to be dropped. ANB position could to replaced by J.Smith.Petracca may have to play defence,or needs to be dropped.Waiting "awfully" for his breakout game. Weed needs another run in the seniors, 7 reserves goals against a shite team means nothing however I think he is better than Ped,T.Smith at this stage.

DV8,good one on Frost. So we will have in our side "Hulk" Hogan, Mac attack and now Frosty "Miller" ( 4 all you kiddies out there,he was a champion F.F 4 Dandenong in the old VFA). Having said that should the Weed play defence/Ruck.

Someone from the Saints admin thought they should have picked Petracca instead of Mc C, the Dees showed interest in De Goey which would have been a win win for both clubs.

in Petty,Tyson,Garlett out Pedo,Vince,Hannan. Selecting JKH is just not a good move as he is unable to show consistency unless you call it bad.

We had to lose one sooner or later.Losing to the Pies is bad but I epect us to only lose one more match season end. We will make top 4.
