What happened to him travelling up to QLD with Max for a pre season camp? “Wants to repay the club”… etc I’m starting to wonder if we maybe do need to blow it up.. Will the me, me, me personalities of Oliver and Petracca ever see us move out of the constant media circus.

I was thinking the same thing. One of the reasons McClure gave was that he didn’t like how the Oliver situation was resolved.. Oliver was supposed to be one of his best mates.. so he wanted to just drop him despite all his challenges. Some mate..

I really miss Angus Brayshaw in moments like this. All I keep thinking about is that interview with Gary Lyon post premiership where he was saying, “This is our club”.. 😔

Seriously this whole thread is a sad indictment on the mindset of large swathes of the Melbourne supporter base.. Tom Morris.. Tom Morris, off all people, throws out an unsourced piece of ambulance chasing “journalism” and such is the desperate despair of the MFC fans, we immediately accept it as fact, reach for our pitchforks and seek to burn the barn down. Get a grip.

I generally agree and want more from sparrow.. I was personally fine with him > Jordan.. if it was a choice. But I still thought he did a good job of quelling Neales influence for a lot of the match..

Gutted.. but I can’t fault the effort at all. Were always going to find it hard to close it out given youth, 6 day break etc.. Would love to kick straight for once, but neither did they so a wash on that front.. still, one goal would’ve been enough in the last. Fan of Moniz.. had a real crack and has some dare about him. Love Kolts attitude.

Gutted.. but, still super proud of the boys. Terrific effort in a really difficult assignment.
