Agree with Jaded. He at no point had a pot at the club and in fact went out of his way to ensure nothing was portayed in that fashion. Dont underestimate the Casey trips as a factor. As a player if I had 2 extra hours on my day every week instead of the 30 minutes he will have to Visy I would take that into consideration.

Granted footy is an emotional sport and we have emotional attachments to players but it really does cloud the judgement of some.

They did trade pick 19 to the Bombers for Teddy Richards. Anything is possible. Charman if he came cheap and his body is sound would be worth a look.

No to Butcher at 2. Just because we have the extra pick does not improve Butchers kicking and make him less of a risk as an early key forward pick. take him with 11 if there but 2 is too early based on what I know.

Hannibal I could not agree more. I would have queries over how Temel would go against men or opponents his own height, his flexibility and lack of perceived endurance/athleticism. I know you can only play against the opponent given but I would not touch him with any of our first four picks. Carlisle was quiet but there were things he did which really grabbed my attention. Would not take him at 11 but has potential at 18.

It will make no difference as my understanding is he stated he will nominate for the national with a price on his head not the PSD. So in essence Hawthorn can take him with pick 9 regardless.

If you had a knee issues would you want to play every second week at Etihad? I wouldn't.

He is not being moved on he is choosing to move on by the sounds of it. It is not about what we would have to offer rather convincing him to come in the first place. The rest will fall into place.

Subject to a thorough examination of his knee I would be keen to entice him to us in the PSD. At his best a player of that quality would bring forward our rise by at least a year.

What has Tippet signing got to do with Panos. If he signs with GC17 that will be a year after Panos is drafted. Dont see what the loss is with Swift. He cannot hit the side of a barn with his kicking and his decision making appears quite substandard.

Agreed although nothing was actually specifically stated it left me with the belief that we wont take Butcher. It also left me thinking that Martin could very much be in the mix at 2 which I had not considered until now.

Why would you be astonished if we took him at 2 but not suprised if Richmond took him 1 pick later? Is there that much difference between their need for talls?
