Just WHO are you to criticize? What good does it do? Are you the oracle? Keep your negativity to yourself. We are plainly bored with your views.

Give me an example of this negativity? I bet you cant

I would hate to be you. Or Bobby.

Such blind optimism. Not willing to see the big picture. Man, what a boring life you must lead.

How about I sit here and praise all our players after our blistering 0-4 start with a percentage of 12. You would like that, wouldnt you.

Bobby is one of the better posters going around and blind optimism is your specialty Tragic, do you happen to be related to Jaded?

You think that being a condescending little [censored] is going to help you bring your point across?

Oh very mature  Nice try at completely avoiding the topic though.

Miller is a very important part of our team right now, and in the foreseeable future. His leadership and his character are as important to our rabble of a team as his straight leading and marking is. And you can complain about it all you want, but it won't change facts.

What has this got to do with your claims that Miller has dramatically altered his kick to handball ratio and wonderful contested marking ability?

As I said, perhaps most of Miller's marks are not officially considered to be 'contested', but he is one of very few players in the side who can take a mark with an opponent breathing down his neck, and one of the few who will never just run on his own looking for the cheap possession. Is he a superstar? Far from it. Will he ever be a superstar? No.

You mean getting cheap marks near the HBF?

Miller is playing for the simple reason that we have no other experienced key forwards on our list.

But funny how when I was one of the few defending him last year, everyone was going off at me, and yet Bailey put him straight back into the leadership group and he hasn't missed a match yet. Also I notice that Sydney showed interest in him, a team that certainly doesn't put up with the sort of crap that the rest of our 'leadership' group shows on a consistent basis.

Wow, I am truly in awe of the amazing depth of knowledge you've demonstrated on this subject. Out of interest what did Sydney offer for Miller?

Before yesterday's match, Miller is:

- 3rd in 1%ers (ahead of Brock, Bruce and Jones)

- 4th equal in tackles

- 9th in contested possessions (better than Bruce, Bell, Sylvia etc...)

- 9th in Marks

And the following players have a higher error count than him: Jones, Neitz, PJ, McLean, Sylvia, Morton, Junior, Wheatley, Robbo, Carroll, Davey, Garland, Green, Dunn, Buckley and Bruce.

He also averages 14 disposals a game, pretty good given he played his first two matches in the backline, and considering he is ahead of Sylvia, Davey and Dunn.

Perhaps he isn't kicking dramatically more than in previous years, but he does not dish off the handball at every opportunity. He has learnt over the pre-season to evaluate whether a kick or a handball are more appropriate to the situation.

My apologies for not having the time to find all these stats yesterday, I'm sure you'll find these adequate given that all of your arguments are so factually rich.

By the way, it is irrelevant for this argument what Sydney was offering for Miller. The fact that they showed interest in him says a whole lot about his character. As I said, when you're on the bottom of the ladder, honest triers are better than selfish wannabes.

I have been a keen reader of this site for ages before actually making a post... one thing is pretty clear though: You talk absolute dribble mate. LoL. Were you the guy who was hanging over the fence bagging our players as they went down the race against the Dogs???

You continually bag blokes like Bruce, Miller, Jamar, C. Johnson, Warnock and Garland… what gives you the right to do so? You’re a “paid up member”… as am I, and most of the other people who post on here. If you want to criticize, then chuck on a jumper and run out there and see how you go. It is fair enough to criticize when they don’t put effort in, but most of the blokes you have mentioned can’t be accused of that… they put in 110% each time they wear the red and blue.

I agree that he is an ok player, average would be a good description though. I also agree (as I've already stated) that he is the best we've currently got and hence our only viable option right now, which was the reason why I argued that we shouldn't have traded him last year.

Thank you for conceding that you were wrong about his kicking ratio, I know how hard that must have been.

If you thought that Sydney being interesting in him was relevant to the topic then what they were prepared to give him for him would definitely be relevant because it would highlight how highly they valued him. A first fround offer would suggest that they'd be desprate to pick him up, however if they were happy to get him in the psd then he'd be purely a depth player (accurate description imo).

Why is it 3 words only?

A tad lazy on the author's part one would think.

I mean,

Why three words?

I thought by 3qtr time Sylvia was one of our worst. But his last quarter made me think that he could play as a defender. His hands were awsome. If only he could've played four quarters of footy.

Not a tough gig when you're playing as a loose man. Oh, and since everyone criticised Robbo's 'junktime' goals...

If you want to criticize, then chuck on a jumper and run out there and see how you go.

I agree with much of what you said, but this is a terrible statement - right up there with 'how many games have you played?'.

Fair enough, I respect your opinion... I just think it stinks that supporters like Y_M constantly show a LACK OF support for players that play for our club. It is easy to sit back in the comfort (or lack of) of the seats at our stadiums and comment on how 'soft'/'weak'/'slow'/'crap' certain players are.

Just by constantly bagging your OWN players. This is a perfect example of negativity. Be CONSTRUCTIVE mate! Support the guys for heaven's sake. Do you for one minute think that they will read your comments and say, "Goodness me, Yze Magic is unhappy with my performance, I really must lift my game!" You really have a king size EGO.
