Who cares where he is from. Multi Billionares all drink from the same Trough. They all know each other to some degree.

These EPL clubs who sold out to private owners are going to be on shaky ground in years to come if they do not have good back up plans.

Man City are a good example-money to burn but they still don't threaten the top rungs yet

That situation cannot continue as it is for long.

You will never learn anything if you don't "care" WYL. Fact is he is no shiek. Which you intimated he is.

He is the main owner of an investment bank. Another credit squeeze (a real one, not like last years Blip) could see him lose a lot of that wealth very quickly.

That i do know having followed the futures markets over the past few years.

Anyway HT do you know if there is a website where i can stream Tomorrow mornings game? That is far more important than the on going survival of Young Roman the Ruski.

Some interesting results this morning! Must admit, I thought the Gunners season was over, but there is a pulse! Fortunate however, clear handball from Fabregas in the last play of the match from Gerard, looked like it was going in!

Yes, i was stoked. 12 more games against lower clubs. The Gunners are still just in there.

Yes we were lucky, but we were stiff against chelsea (played well but just couldn't crack it) so i will take today..

Victory grand final into extra time.

We were completely out of it until the equalizer then had chances to win it in the last ten.

Both sides couldve got a second goal, and probably a winner.

Thompson's injury has been a killer

Come on you Spurs!

Do yourself a favour and get onto the highlights at some stage today.

Danny Rose, 9 minutes into his first match - what a strike!

Saw it! 1 of the goals of the year. Ends the Gunners chances too, if they weren`t already finished before the game. Their injury list resembles the Dees of the past 3 years!

Considering our injury list, it has been a mighty season.

True! Boy we have missed Van Persie. He looked pretty good in patches the other night!Having him alone may have seen some results turned! Even Fabregas, despite playing a large chunk of the season has been injured more often than not. Happy with 3rd possie, maybe 2nd!

Must say, I do enjoy watching Arsenal play and obviously being from West Footscray and having never travelled to England it's hard to feel hatred (or anything close) towards them.

I understand them as a massive rival and dislike them as a "big 4" team - but they're very good to watch and have done very well this season with only Fabregas (in patches!)

Its been a cracker year with half a forward pack, and half the budget of the other top sides. Respect to Arsenne i say.

Shucks thanks 45!! We are hated but never as much as chelsea or ManUre!!

Unlucky against Wigan. That was the comeback to top all comebacks. It took them 80 minutes to realise that Sol Campbell is too old and slow these days and you can just run around him.

Meanwhile my beloved Blues got done in the dying seconds against Man-ure. Again. Although I do like Scholes so if anyone was to head home a late winner I'm glad it was him.

This season was heading towards a fitting and quite pleasing conclusion with Chelsea or Arsenal to steal a fourth title from Ferguson's claws (Chelsea to do so comfortably), and Citeh to play Champion's League football next year. In one week it's all gone to [censored].

What an amazingly sad way for the gunners to go down, but still a good season regardless of the next few weeks.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.

  • POSTGAME: North Melbourne

The Demons are finally back at the MCG and finally back on the winners list as they continually chipped away at a spirited Kangaroos side eventually breaking their backs and opening the floodgates to run out winners by 6 goals.
