Don't really think you can judge one way or another off one game (would you really say Wigan is better than Chelsea?)

But 3 goals came with Crouch on and his other goal came from a penalty that he didn't earn.

TBH you haven't made an argument

3 goals with crouch on !! Crouch was barely sighted

he didn't earn the penalty but he earnt the reputation to be a good penalty take!

And he put it in calmly!

Crouch is a great impact player to come on around 60-70 min mark if the team needs

to mix it up. But keane virtually plays as a very attacking midfielder he gets on the ball more than

crouch and Defoe. I dunno if u watched the game? But I don't really need an argument

keane scored 4 , could have had 5 or 6 and created 2 chances for Defoe and one each for Lennon N crouch

Fair enough, each to their own.

I just don't like playing Keane and Defoe as our forwards with no tall target - it may work against Burnley but I don't think it works against the top ranked teams.

Would you expect any different?

5-1

I would not expect that. 5 goals is very good even against Preston, this is soccer we are talking about btw.

Niko Kranjcar - New signings for spurs, 2 mil fee.

.

How about 5-0? ;)

Big match coming up this weekend, Chelsea vs. Liverpool at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea coming off a 3-1 loss to Wigan and a 1-0 win against Cypriot team APOEL in the Champions League.

Liverpool coming off a 6-1 demolition of Hull and a 2-0 loss against Fiorentina in the CL.

Should be interesting based on recent results, both teams should come out firing.

2-2 with the spuds, for once I will actually say that Megson picked a decent team who attacked and played some awesome football, and we were unlucky not to get all 3 points.

5 goals in 36 minutes in the Arsenal match!

Chelsea 2 - 0 Liverpool.

I'm so happy!

GG apologies for wide berth, busy on relocation stuff still.

Sir Alex has again apologised about criticising Ref Alan Wiley. This time to the FA...... Lawyers written all over it. Should be banned but wont be.

Tottenham head to Pompey in which the old crew may attract a bit of nastiness. Redknapp, Crouch, Defoe and Kranjcar may feel the heat in the cold down at Fratten Park......

Chelsea head to Villa Park on TOP>

Man U host Bolton minus Rooney. Definate for Wednesday in Moscow. Berba hasnt come back from Bulgaria after his tart popped a baby tot yesterday. Owen should be right.

Sunderland Host Liverpool minus Stevie G. Injured in England Training

Gooners Host the newly cash injected Brummies after Carson Yeung vowed to spend at least £40M in the January Transfer window.

That's all for now. GG

Liverpool fail thanks to a beach ball,3 losses in row now

Losing to stoke...at home...awesome, it's just like being able to watch Melbourne all summer

Spurs of last season. We need Modric.

We were always in trouble when Lennon got injured at 12 min mark and had to go off.

Meanwhile, epic match last night.

Mancs and Arsenal giving up 2-0 leads eased my heart a little.

you Spurs fans Mr Morton and 45hotgood16?

Great minds, huh?

With Lennon and Modric out we need to play Bale and Jenas, no arguments even though I'm not a JJ fan. Always turns it up against Arsenal so worth a try. If Bentley plays (which he deserves, but Harry doesn't seem to like him) we should play Hutton at RB. Charlie offeres us nothing without Lennon's tricks which tend to attract the RB and RW, thus freeing Ved up for a smart one-two. Hope King and possibly Woodgate are fit though. Ledders is an absolute star.

Marlon King Sacked immediately from Wigan.....

Why - Jailed for 18 months for punching a 20 yo girl in the face at a west end night club after groping her and got knocked back.

Mixed race toss bag should have got more. 13 previous convictions since 1997 including 2 assualts against women shows the coward for who he really is.

Family members shouted at the judge: As the sentence was handed down, members of the soccer star's family screamed: "Institutional racism."

One relative shouted: "Heil Hitler," while another roared: "Steven Gerrard's still walking the streets"

Nice one Judge!!!

Anyway - Gooners V Spurs this weekend should be a beauty.

Hull boss Phil Brown has 2 games to get outta the relegation zone or walk the plank.

Chelsea face Bolton again after 4-0 [censored] at the Carling cup mid week this time away.

Fulham V Liverpool at the cottage looks the fixture for me.

GG

Gunners put Spurs away...You beauty second on the table.

2 Goals in 49 seconds had the Totters in Tatters!!!

Superb result.....3-0

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.
