So feminists and trans activists control communications and social media and use it to cancel people. Thatโ€™s your take.

This topic seems to be not about the original topic any longer and about politics..

Agree both are bad but the woke crowd started Cancel Culture & love to ban anyone who disagrees with them.

Laughable and laughably ignorant.

For those up the back and because it seems that it needs to be clarified (not that it'll make much difference, but heh ...):

The term "woke" emerged among Black Americans as a way to describe being alert to social injustices, especially racism and inequality. It has since expanded to include issues like sexism, homophobia, misogyny, ableism ..

At its core, itโ€™s about empathy and being accepting and tolerant of othersโ€™ experiences and ways of living their lives.

Still waiting for you to enlighten us with examples of people who got cancelled because of โ€˜social mediaโ€™.

A simple Google search will give hundreds of examples or even use an AI tool.

I presume you know how to use Google or are you just lazy ?

You said it. I asked you to prove it. You couldnโ€™t - but itโ€™s my job to prove your, completely incorrect, point?

Lol.

Actually I think the evidence shows the progressives ie the left started Cancel Culture.

Jim Zumbo gets neatly tucked under the carpet when right wingers talk about cancel culture. Not just cancelled but forced to declare he loved Big Brother.

Ugh.

Let's delete this thread and start a new one about Leigh Ryswyk.

No, I'm serious.

Hopefully the new one can be kept clean of people who need to inject their conspiracy theories into other people's small celebrations.

Like different religious beliefs I donโ€™t care who you believe in or who you think you are or identify as or whatever. Good on you. I hope life is good for you. (But please donโ€™t try and convert me!)

Answer to โ€˜has any body tried to convert me?โ€™

Yes, normally the god botherers that dress up well and knock on your door. Tough job for them, I am a rusted on atheist, butโ€ฆโ€ฆ..many years ago I had two Rottweiler dogs. You had to open a gate to get to my front door.

The gate had a bell you could ring and there was a big sign that said โ€˜Dogs running freeโ€™ and a picture of a Rottweiler. Everyone without fail that didnโ€™t know me or the dogs would ring the bell.

Lo and behold one day I heard a knock on the front door. When I answered the door there were two god botherers. I was shocked and asked if they saw the sign. They said yes but believed that god would look after them.

After I moved them on I went outside to look to see where the dogs were. They were both fast asleep in the back yard.

I thought that there truly must be a god. Closest Iโ€™ve come to being converted!
