Great pics. The pic of Kozz and Chin flying for the mark is great. 2 favourite players. Almost like the Gate Keeper and the Key Master getting together for me!

The sequence of Windsor chasing Kozzy should be a case study. Kozzy is always balanced, even at speed, assessing options and his ball drop is perfect. I said at the end of 2023 that he’d be our best player by end of 2025. He might not be our best just yet but he is by far our most important player structurally.

The other sequence of his which is a terrific teaching tool is the pictures where he is gathering the footy. Recruiters talk about clean gathers or clean trapping which Kozzy is elite at. A lot of prospects come through the system and place their hands too horizontally. Kozz gets his hands under the ball at all times. I remember hearing a story about Trac when he first came to the club. He has enormous hands. Massive. But he was lazy with his placement. They tweaked his approach and the rest is history.

I love that we have Kozzy. So are my kids.

Great photos!

I'm surprised players wear watches during contact training. Getting hit on the head with a stray arm with a watch on it could be very painful.

Agree LDVC. Rolexes can hurt.

  • GAMEDAY: Brisbane

It's Game Day and the Demons return to the MCG after a dismal performance in Gather Round to face the reigning dual Premiers Brisbane. What do expect to see from the Dees today?

  • PREVIEW: Brisbane

They really had me fooled when I picked them with great confidence to beat the Bombers at Gather Round last week. I should have recognised that nothing is more quintessentially Melbourne than defeating the undefeated early premiership favourite one week and losing to a winless cellar dweller on its way to establishing a record losing streak the next.

Melbourne’s much vaunted finishing power evaporated at Adelaide Oval on Saturday afternoon, exposed for the third time in four years by its Essendon Gather Round hoodoo.
