Mystery Demonlander to be interviewed on SEN at half time

Featured Replies

Being out of SEN range, I am curious...to the point tbat I will not abuse the messenger. Very. very, very (etc.) angry at the performance though.

He, she or it - I really don't give a toss who you are Jaded, but you should explicitly apologise to Yze Magic for your rudeness, or else reconsider your position as a Moderator for the wider good.

I am looking forward to your response, Jaded.

Biffinator.

Here is it:

Tell someone who cares.

I don't apologies for having a sense of humour, and I suggest you go find yours where you left it.

Also, if you have a personal problem with me, or the way I moderate, send me a PM and we'll sort it out.

Don't resort to the tactics of some other posters who try to serve their own anti-mod agenda with their posts.

Jaded, happy to send in a PM to sort this out. I wil be in Perth all of next week.

I do have a sense of humour, but I am no longer a nine year old. There is also a fine line between humour and mockery and you blundered across the two categories.

Re your advice at the end. My god, of all the things in the world to worry about.

Biffinator.

So, who was the mystery demonlander? I missed the telecast.

YEAH!

For crying out loud will SOMEONE please tell us who it was?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think the Mystery Demonlander was interviewed at half past midnight on SEN, not half time.

Driving to KFC for my second helping of comfort food i heard a gentleman bleeding for his club, absolutely gutted (who left at half time) and was struggling to express what he felt, and uttering disbelief that if our key forward is out, that our supposed 'replacement' Newton isn't selected, and that Daniher has 'forgotten' about him. While i was advising the spotty faced 17 year old that no, i didn't want to use the toilet in the locked restaurant, i wanted to know if they had EFTPOS working on the drive through, i thought this summed it up exactly.

It didn't help that i drove home past the Leighoak (live 5min from there) and there's reconstruction work going on and there's a huge sign near the entrance that says PEDESTRIANS, the melbourne football club for most of the night stood on the footpath watching the Toiges drive past.

And take Jarka's support with a grain of salt, he's got his own agenda.

What's my agenda?

No, I didn't think you'd have the balls to post a reply. If you have a problem with me then send me a pm instead of making smart arsed comments without any evidence to back them up.

He didn't answer his phone. Boooooooo.

Incorrect. SEN never called. They claim they tried calling, but there were no missed calls. I sat there clutching the phone (on vibrate), with my mind ticking away so quick, my mates had to poor a Cougar on my head to cool me off.

I had so much to say.....

Sorry to hear that Finks, your turn of events seem to have fit the night perfectly.

He could try ringing you again this Friday night but he'll probably be interrupting your weekend at the snow!

  • PREVIEW: Hawthorn

Hawthorn and Melbourne. Two teams with impressive form from last week but with seasons that are travelling on different trajectories meet in Saturday’s twilight game for what could well be the most intriguing contest of the AFL’s penultimate round. Sadly, the game has been relegated to that unappealing time slot in the weekend when Melburnians are typically preoccupied with activities other than football. It falls between the morning's shopping, afternoon sport and recreation, and Saturday night fever. A time usually reserved for relatively insignificant events but this one is not a nothingburger for either of the clubs or their fans.

Concerningly, average attendances in 2024 were 2,660 fans per match, with the women’s game incurring an annual loss of approximately $50 million.

  • REPORT: Western Bulldogs

The next coach of the Melbourne Football Club faces the challenge of teaching his players how to win games against all comers. At times during this tumultuous season, that task has seemed daunting, made more so in light of the surprise news last week of the sacking of premiership coach Simon Goodwin. However, there were also some positive signs from yesterday’s match against the Western Bulldogs that the challenge may not be as difficult as one might think. The two sides presented a genuine football spectacle, featuring pulsating competitive play with eight lead changes throughout the afternoon, in a display befitting a finals match. The result could have gone either way and in the end, it came down to which team could produce the most desperate of acts to provide a winning result. It was the Bulldogs who had their season on the line that won out by a six point margin that fitted the game and the effort of both sides.

  • CASEY: Brisbane

The rain had been falling heavily in south east Queensland when the match began at Springfield, west of Brisbane. The teams exchanged early goals and then the Casey Demons proceeded like a house on fire in the penultimate game of the VFL season against a strong opponent in the Brisbane Lions. Sparked by strong play around the ground by seasoned players in Charlie Spargo and Jack Billings, a strong effort from Bailey Laurie and promising work from youngsters in Kynan Brown and  Koltyn Tholstrup, the Demons with multiple goal kickers firing, raced to a 27 point lead late in the opening stanza. A highlight was a wonderful goal from Laurie who brilliantly sidestepped two opponents and kicked beautifully from 45 metres out.
