Agree totally Red!

For an experienced veteran ( and a bloke I'd previously considered a sportsman ) Kohl's exchange with a young first gamer was [censored] weak.

Note. the replays clearly show that Konstas was walking his own line and minding his own business when Kohli bumped into him

Kohli should, but wont be suspended, India run cricket

How's Gavaskar suggesting that both of them will be reported!🤣

Gavaskar has hated the Aussies ever since he was given out, cracked the sheeits and tried to get his team to get on the bus and go home to India straight away!🥸

It wasn’t good and I’m sure the match referee will deal with the situation accordingly. But what sch!ttz me no end is the relentless talk about it. I’d rather the commentators didn’t mention it every five minutes. The match so far is highly entertaining, that should be enough to keep us viewing. There’s no need for the big song and dance production.

PS to say India ruin cricket is just silly.

Agree. There was also barely anything in the Head/Siraj altercation but the commentators made it sound as if they went into an actual fistfight.

I think the media just wants this series to be as drama fulled as possible.

And it’s a shame because it doesn’t need any drama at all. Maybe casual fans like the “spice” added by the media but I reckon true fans just wanna enjoy the actual game.

The thing that annoyed me was Kohli’s reaction, after walking a pitch and a half width across, to get to Konstas.

Konstas was clearly annoying Kohli, as we saw earlier a few times with his cavalier batting and Kohli’s reactions.

However, after Kohli bumped him and kept walking, without instantly reacting, which you would do if contact was unexpected, Kohli tried to start something and then later was trying to blame Konstas for the bump, by showing a charge with his shoulder. This annoyed me the most.

Great batsman that he is/was, he has always been arrogant and his picking on Nat Ioannides, a young, small, female sports journo at Tullamarine was pathetic. He excused the three men in her group ( cameramen probably) and loudly said it was all her fault that there were cameras at the airport, when his team arrived. Tony Jones called him a bully and that is probably on the money.

I have never liked him, much preferring guys like Bumrah and Tendulkar who are modest champions.

I see he got a slap on the wrist for the incident.

The Demons have slumped to their worst start to a season since 2012, falling to 0–4 after a more spirited showing against the Cats at Kardinia Park. Despite the improved effort, they went down by 39 points, and the road ahead is looking increasingly grim.

  • PREVIEW: Geelong

"It's officially time for some alarm bells. I'm concerned about the lack of impact from their best players." This comment about one of the teams contesting this Friday night’s game came earlier in the week from a so-called expert radio commentator by the name of Kane Cornes. He wasn’t referring to the Melbourne Football Club but rather, this week’s home side, Geelong. The Cats are purring along with 1 win and 2 defeats and a percentage of 126.2 (courtesy of a big win at GMHBA Stadium in Round 1 vs Fremantle) which is one win more than Melbourne and double the percentage so I guess that, in the case of the Demons, its not just alarm bells, but distress signals. But don’t rely on me. Listen to Cornes who said this week about Melbourne:- “They can’t run. If you can’t run at speed and get out of the contest then you’re in trouble.
