JT’s Achilles heel is that he can’t get us a gun KPF, but given our woeful entries, not even the best forward would thrive in our forward line.

Also, those wondering if we need a new national recruitment manager, is there a better one out there that is available? No.

Tim Lamb should go before JT. But Goody and his assistants should go before TL.

Any pick Ess gets this year will be the equivalent of mid teens/ early 20's last draft.

And not to mention any pick they got won't be better than Lindsay. He'd be a top 5 mid in any other draft

All I’ve seen and heard are words so far, a million miles away from being Floweresque as promised.

He's played what, like 4 or 5 games? And had his season interrupted by a knee injury.

Please

Some of his picks haven’t stacked up at all.

But he did get us a lot of good players in ‘19 draft with LJ and Kozzy which if LJ had of stayed would have been unreal. not his fault mommy came a calling. Rivers also from this draft.

‘20 was a pass (just ) with Bowey and Laurie

“21 was JVR and Howes. Probably a pass.

‘22 Jeffo, Seatsn and Adam’s. I’d say this was a poor year.

‘23 We should have gone Caddy over Windsor and/or Logan Morris over Kolt or even Frejdah would have been handy to us. So I think his ‘23 draft could have been better.

His 24 draft was good in Langford and XL though.

So out of the last 6 years he had two great ones in 2019 and 2024. 2020 and 2021 were pass (probably being a little generous). I think 2023 was ok but could have been better. And 2022 was clearly his worst.

But since winning a premiership and attempting to build a dynasty, lets look at the picks we squandered giving to Lamb to trade instead of trusting Taylor

Hunter, Dunstan, McAdam, Billings, Harry Sharp, Fullerton, Tom Campbell, Schache

Yeah - I know who trust at this club

In their lies the problem or reason why we have declined this badly.

I wouldn't call 22 a bust just yet.

Jeffo was always a project player and wasn't bad last week given the ball barely went into the forward line in the first or third quater.

Sestan will be a player i haven't seen somebody built with hips and calves like that since Matthew Larkin who captained North before Carey. He will become a player.

Adam's might be a miss

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
