Good to see Eddie make a total fool out of himself again.   Would love to see look on his face when fifth lose   grand final or  before.  (Actually met Eddie at work in a Govt building a few years ago   seemed like   nice bloke actually)

Actions speak louder than words.

Ask the great Adam Goodes and former pies indigenous players.

You can take the lad out of Broadmeadows but you cant take the Broady out of Eddie.

Just another rich TV bogan.

I thought he was better than that but he just cant shrug the Broady boy background.

Obviously his son wasnt born there so his reaction was not surprising.

Can we please not have threads about him

You are very specific about what threads we should and shouldn't have or follow. It shows a certain character trait, quite the opposite of mine , i.e. live and let live. Let the reader choose...

best bit was his kid that's not a nepo journo rolling his eyes and saying "sit down dad"

His kid is ok. Watched him in action as a volunteer. Nice lad.

Not regarded as a broady boy by his broady peers.

Eddie McGuire is what we thought he was.

You can take the bogan out of Broadmeadows, but you can’t take Broadmeadows out of the bogan.
Clearly moving from Broady to Toorak doesn’t make you classy.

Forget the haunting of Round 11 — we’ve got this. Melbourne returns to its inner-city fortress for its milestone 100th AFLW match, carrying a formidable 10–2 record at IKON Stadium. Brisbane’s record at the venue is more balanced: 4 wins, 4 losses and a draw.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.
