1. Shaun Burgoyne outted for game this weeks game at the G(unless we get shafted at the appeal), where the Power have never beaten us.

2. If we win this week, we get the doggies coming back the west. We have had the wood over the Dogs in recent years.

3. We have lost 5 in a row at the end of te season and still made the finals. We may just be having our slump first up this year, and will hit september flying.

4. Obviously, many good players to come back into the fold. Which may spare us having to watch a few players run around that shouldn't be.

5. Davey back in form.

6. Ricky Pettard.

Or alternatively,

7. No.1 draft pick.

8. Seeya ND.

I was so pumped against Freo & the Swans & I was let down. I am therefore going to attend this match with absolutely no confidence whatsoever.

I'll just sit back, barrack & HOPE for the best. See what I've been reduced to?

Actually in 2005 we lost 7 in a row between round 13 and 19. Perhaps thats a positive in itself.

YEP, & lets try to ditch the polite clapping, (to which I've been a culprit) & start to take the risk of embarrassment & roar our approval or disapproval.

*****************************GO DEES...*****************************

Be feral. Roar your approval. Make the umpires give 'crowd' holding the ball decisions.

Be heard.

Most importantly, be there!

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Essendon

It’s Pink Lady night at Princes Park — a vibey Friday evening setting for a high-stakes clash between second-placed Melbourne and eleventh-placed Essendon. The wind-sheltered IKON Park, a favourite ground of the Demon players, promises flair, fire and a touch of pink. Melbourne has never lost a home-and-away game here, though the ghosts of two straight-sets finals exits in 2023 still linger.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: # 1 Steven May

The premiership defender has shown signs of wear and tear due to age, and his 2025 season was inconsistent, ending poorly with a suspension and a noticeable decline in performance. The Demons are eager to integrate younger players onto their list and have indicated that they may not be able to guarantee him senior games next season, in what would be the final year of his contract.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: # 2 Jacob van Rooyen

The young key tall failed to make progress during the season, with a decline in his goal kicking output. His secondary role as a backup ruckman, which may have hindered his ability to further develop his game, and he was also impacted by the team's poor forward connection. It will be interesting to observe his performance under a new coaching regime.
