We'll probably lose 3 or so through the middle part of the season when we up our training loads.

We reset so well after challenges I almost feel that once we drop one we will go to another level.
Besides I have no doubt that if ladder position allows, we will ramp up training halfway through the year which will likely see us drop a few games in preparation for finals. It’s just what we did last year.
I also wouldn’t put it past us to drop a game against our most likely rival in the lead up to finals.

Ummmm.  “We will drop games and if won’t be a bad thing”.  I’m afraid that after 3 straight losses, it is a bad thing.

You are really having a moment.

It was a bit of a joke mate.

I’m sure momentum will change and we’ll string a bunch of wins at the back end.

And we’ll play teams that aren’t at their best, in contrast to Freo, Sydney and Collingwood who probably each played their best games of the year so far against us.

My apologies. I assumed you were being serious as your post in the Jackson contract thread posted about the same time was equally as absurd

  • PREVIEW: Brisbnae

They really had me fooled when I picked them with great confidence to beat the Bombers at Gather Round last week. I should have recognised that nothing is more quintessentially Melbourne than defeating the undefeated early premiership favourite one week and losing to a winless cellar dweller on its way to establishing a record losing streak the next.
