He or Ron Barrassi should have held up the cup not Lyon he put us on the bottom.

Seriously? Fair old contradiction in your statement, Garry had countless opportunities to leave the club, he didnt, good or bad, he has been loyal as ever to Melbourne. Ron just upped and left and went to a rival club.

Move on from your Lyon bashing. We won a flag, its bought lots of joy to lots of people. Walk on the sunny side of teh street for a while.

Great to see the old boys up and about and enjoying the moment. Clint the Biz was awesome for us, does anyone else feel similarly chuffed seeing him with us? Does anyone know if he is popular down the hwy? He did only play 10 or 11 more games for us than the puddy cats.

Here here I have posted similarly about a few days ago and let's enjoy the way the Cup is bringing us all together including players officials and not forgetting the fans.

We have all played our part in this magnificent achievement and it's only starting IMO.

Gary was a very worthy role player in Perth and it's time for say RDB and ND to complete the flag furling in March health permitting.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
