Point of order here to the quiz master.

Question:  How many draws in Melbourne finals matches?

The answer provided was ONE v Collingwood in 1928. This is true BUT the correct answer to the question is TWO. 1928 AND 1948 GF draw v Essendon.

Sorry to the Quiz writer. Cheers.

You should do a Melbourne quiz Bobby? See how many we can get like how many times can Werridee do a best 22?

Did you write an electronic mail to AFL.com.au? I answered one and got a red mark and frowny face with no other explanation. Also, what was it was it like seeing those 1928 and 1948 draws live? Must have been crazy.

Growing up in the late-1960s I kind of liked that Melbourne was the only team to have won a Premiership after a drawn Grand Final. It somehow made me feel I was following a special team. Of course, in those days we were on 12 Premierships with only Collingwood on 13 ahead of us. So we were special, anyway.

Actually, we're still special.

Yeah

The 1928 finals draw was very exciting. I nearly fell off my penny farthing bike listening to it on my crystal set!
