Not his best game for us today. Played within himself, lacked a bit of confidence. We need his swagger if we're to beat the saints next week

Many opportunities for trac today, 2 fumbled marks in the first quarter however still a solid game from him. Would love to see him in beast mode next week

I actually thought he was a bit selfish at times when there was another handball in the chain before an entry inside 50.

Who is it depleted of, I only see Viney out, he has Oliver, max and Brayshaw with Langdon on the wing

And the first gamer JJ who did some brilliant team plays yesterday and actually uses the ball very well!!

Yeah I saw him play he was amazing.

Do you think hes going to be the best Demon forever?  Nostalgia is a powerful thing I guess

History may actually say Gawn is the most decorated and potentially best Melbourne player ever. 4 x AA, best & fairest winner, AFLCA best player 2018 so far.

He’ll probably add another AA jumper this year, too.

I'm not sure that Flower is the best Demon ever - although clearly the best I've seen by quite some way and I've been watching since the mid-60s. I didn't see Barrasi play for Melbourne. It's quite possible that Barrasi was better than Flower.  (And then, of course, there are the even earlier players such as Norm Smith and Ivor Warne-Smith who might have been better, too.)
