Yeah It's Time.  We all love the Melbourne Footy Club, but family love is a different kind of love.  All the best!

Thanks DV8. I’m at that age where the generation ahead of us are hitting their late 80’s early 90’s. No one tells you what life’s going to be like when you get there. It’s not pretty.

I had to shoot down to be with one in hospital and look after their partner out of hospital. In the meantime another relative of similar age got rushed to the same hospital very ill. So then I had 2. The next day his wife got rushed to Emergency so I had 3 in the one hospital. The nurses were asking me how my rounds were going Dr.

I had to come home to take my son into hospital for day surgery yesterday.

Bizarre week.

sorry for the tough conditions Dr.

Ha! Nice!  Love your work. Maybe change to Dr Time when It's Time has finally been made redundant.

I'm a little surprised that with all the forward talk there is never a mention of Spargo ?

He pretty much cemented a spot last year as our small crumber in the forward 50 and from what I saw did a pretty good job

Seems like everyone thinks there are others ahead of him now - I feel the coaches like him because he seems to play very much to his instructions / team focus

I would expect he will still be very much in the mix this year unless he has gone backwards

Disagree wholeheartedly here.. I Now assume he is a lock & that Jeff will battle Bedford for 2nd Spot with Weeds, TMac, Melksham, Trac all locks.

It's pretty simple. He is carrying a niggle and is likely to for the whole season.

Do not expect the long awaited unleashing of the Tracc Beast in 2019.

To me that’s a bit silly to say! Doesn’t work like like and if you read the Guthrie article it’s clear what issue is and makes total sense! Trac looks trimmer than ever and I expect him to blast out of blocks in more mid focused role this year.

    BOILED LOLLIES by The Oracle

In the space of a month Melbourne has gone from chocolates to boiled lollies in terms of its standing as a candidate for the AFL premiership.  The club faces its moment of truth against a badly bruised up Collingwood at the MCG. A win will give it some respite but even then, it won’t be regarded particularly well being against an opponent carrying the burden of an injured playing list. A loss would be a disaster. The Demons have gone from a six/two win/loss ratio and a strong percentag

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an

    ALAS SPRINGS by Whispering Jack

I got the word on Saturday from someone who knows someone inside the Fremantle camp that the Dockers were pumped and supremely confident about getting the W the next day against Melbourne at TIO Traeger Park in the red heart of the country. I was informed that the Dockers were extremely confident for a number of reasons. They had beaten the Demons on their home territory at the MCG at their last two meetings so they didn’t see beating them at Alice Springs as a problem. They belie

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,
