Does anyone support the A league? Saw there was no thread.

How good are the Victory going? Looks like we are going back to back.

How good is Honda? Could still play in the main leagues today. The best marquee player ever in the A League.

I also support the stars in the big bash

Storm in League

76's in NBA.

Stealers in NFL

Everton in EPL.

Just got Kayo sports so hopefully watch more 76's and Stealers games. So I should be on the other sports topics a lot.

Sorry @WERRIDEE, cheering for Melbourne City tonight ?

Bastards equalised in injury time. We need Honda back. You cost us top spot.

Sure is DZ, especially when you have the chance to cash out for $180 30 seconds before the equaliser!

Oh no, cash outs are evil. I can never get them right.

Lucky to get the 3 points tonight. Wanderers had their chances. Toivonen what a legend! Need Honda back if we are going to finish top we are a different team without him.

COME BACK HONDA WE NEED YOU!

Been flat ever since Honda got injured. Got the hiding we deserved.

Disgraceful effort by Deng for the second goal may as well have kicked for them it was that bad. Troisi has to lift done nothing all year.

Troisi finally delivers and thank god for that we needed the 3 points. Surprised Barbarouses was benched instead of him but it worked out in the end.

Honda better come back soon because the way we are going we won't make top spot although we don't need it we didn't need it last year.

GO THE VICTORY! We are definitely the second best team in the league after beating Sydney without Honda. Are we better than Perth though? We will know in 2 weeks.

I haven't watched a lot of A League but I watched tonight's game and it was quite entertaining.  The 1st goal was a ripper.  Overall coverage was excellent.

Another draw to the Phoenix. We desperately need the brilliance of Toivonen, Athu is just a second stringer.

A bad loss to Newcastle looks like we will finish 3rd nothing to be worried about yet but I think when Honda and Toivonen are together fit and firing we are a premiership contender ATM we are not.

Well were out and embarrassingly so and it's only going to get tougher next year with western united coming in. Thomas terrible goal keeping set the scene and we were never ever recovering from that.

Really struggled tonight can't see us being top 4 on that performance unless Kruse stars when he comes back.

Panic stations really poor tonight. Lucky handball saved embarrassment. Desperately need Kruse back. Top 4 out of the question, top 6 doubtful.

  • Author

Great to get the win but I think the season is over. Nabbout out with a hammy and Kruse still out with a hammy means it's gonna be tough for the next month or so.

Panic stations ATM. Too many defenders not enough midfielders. Kurz can't coach. They have been horrible with the exception of Toivenen. 9th ATM and the next month will tell if they are any chance of finals. Can't believe we let go Troisi.

  • AFLW REPORT: Port Adelaide

Well, that was a shock. The Demons 4-game unbeaten run came to a grinding halt in a tense, scrappy affair at the sunny, windy Alberton Oval, with the Power holding on for a 2-point win. The Dees had their chances—plenty of them—but couldn't convert when it mattered most. Port’s tackling pressure rattled the Dees, triggering a fumble frenzy and surprising lack of composure from seasoned players.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.
