If Hogan does decide to go - surely we enquire

Really? Really.....

Cause we have landed so many big free agents over the journey so far?

Nothing like getting a big head based upon falling into the finals for the first time in 12 years.

Let's achieve something before we assume to being remotely close to a destination club.

The problem with free agency is the receiver pays nothing and the compo isn't close to what the losing club should get. Even if GCS get pick 3, that's not better than what Lynch offers. That needs to change.

The Dees are a great example of a club working towards improvement and heightened strength in the competition directly as a result of the equalisation factor. Equalisation opportunities were seen, researched and sought.

the last thing we need is another forward unless you are suggesting some further trades.

Not saying I like it but....

Lynch to us in return for the salary cap freed up by trading out Hogan

Weideman to Pies for their first rounder and perhaps a back up player

Two low first rounders for Hogan etc etc

That is what trading is really about if you have the cards ?

Agree 100%.

What really peeves me off it that this was all totally obvious from the moment that FA was introduced, so what are we paying these glorified half wits like Dil McWhatshisface all the millions for.

I think his correct name is Gillon McGillonface

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
