2016 Player Review - # 32 Tomas Bugg

I'm underwhelmed by Bugg. I can see some value to him as a genuine tagger negating the opposition's best player, but his disposal is so bad that he will never be part of an AFL finals side. Yet another recruit who will be a list clogger by the end of his contract.

You can't have all stars in your finals side.....You need some foot soldiers ....Bugg is a good fot soldier

How many of the Bulldogs could you have said the avove about before this final series

I actually thought that Bugg did have a few games where he was outstanding and made a real impact.  His biggest problem was that his form was a bit hot and cold at times.

He has a good knack of kicking goals and I do like his toughness, ability to hassle and get under opposition players skin - all valuable attributes.

He is the one player I find hard to compliment, and at the same time I have a hard time knocking him.

I really just don't know if he is going to get better, or remain the same. I guess we will find out over the remainder of his contract and then call it then.

I liked his swagger. It's something we haven't had at this club for a while.
