The B&F illustrated how far our club has come offfield in administration, sponsorship and fan support.

It was not long ago that the MFC went from one off field crisis to the next - see this article from March 2012

I hope that he checks it in to the Property Steward if he goes to Brisbane!

It's a funny coincidence, just the other day I was walking down the street and there was some rubbish by the footpath, probably from a house move.

Some of the newspaper there must have been used as packing material a long time ago, because...

And you took a photo of it, because you just never know when you might need to use it? :pj:

Once you've been sacked from Tennis Australia you would think yourself unemployable and rightly so.

If I wasn't busy forging a career in Street Hustle I would have put my hand up.

Let's move on from that parasite.

Amazing the difference some stability, a clear plan and a unified club working towards that plan can make, in my eyes it's no surprise that getting these things right is one of the most consistent themes with teams like Geelong, Hawthorn and Sydney.

Peter Jackson and Glen Bartlett have been huge assets

We’re back! That was fun. The Mighty Dees’ Season 10 campaign is off toa flying start with a commanding 48-point winover the Western Bulldogs, retaining the Hampson-Hardeman Cup in style. After a hard-fought first half in slippery conditions, the Dees came out in the second half and showcased their trademark superior class, piling on four goals in the third termand never looked back.

  • REPORT: Hawthorn

The final score in Saturday's game against Hawthorn was almost identical to that from their last contest three months ago. Melbourne suffered comprehensive defeats in both games, but the similarities ended there. When they met in Round 9, the Demons were resurgent, seeking to redeem themselves after a lacklustre start to the season. They approached the game with vigour and dynamism, and were highly competitive for the first three quarters, during which they were at least on par with the Hawks. In the final term, they lapsed into error and were ultimately overrun, but the final result did not accurately reflect their effort and commitment throughout the match.

  • CASEY: Box Hill

The Casey Demons ended the regular season on a positive note and gained substantial momentum leading into the finals when they knocked the Box Hill Hawks off the top of the VFL ladder in their final round clash at Casey Fields. More importantly, they moved out of a wild card position in the finals race and secured a week's rest as they leapfrogged up the ladder into fifth place with their decisive 23-point victory over the team that had been the dominant force in the competition for most of the season.

The Demons were sloppy all day and could not stop the run and carry of the fast moving Hawthorn as the Hawks cruised to an easy 36 point win. Is the season over yet?
