I have stuck with the Sandringham Dragons through thick and thin, still believe they will produce the most top 20 recruits of all clubs in the draft and will be there at Etihad to support my boys home to the TAC Cup Premiership.

First blood to the Dragons in front of a pretty smallish crowd at Etihad. 1.1.7 to 0.0.0.

A few stray Bulldog fans have already rolled in.

I'm one if the smallish crowd here, Brodie for Murray and Taranto for Sandy busy early.

A good rover's goal from my boy Ash Krakauer and the Dragons lead 13-2.

Son of a Demon Corey Lyons goals and an after the goal infringement gives the Dragons another to give them a 16 point win.

Brodie back on after he was cleaned up by an umpire in the first qtr, Sandy get a fk after Lyons goal and score another. Drama filled minute of footy!

love those twofers. we had a twofer (by yours truly) many moons ago in a granny against oakleigh districts and ended up winning by less than a goal. sweeet!

A couple of quick one's  for Murray as Andrew Brayshaw hobbles off. Tweaked his knee in a tackle, hopefully ok.

Murray fight back with 2 goals - there are three points in it.

Todd Marshall, best kpf in the draft, scored the second. Might have been his first kick for the game.

And now the Bushies are in front thanks to winning most of the clearances this quarter.

Now H Brayshaw marks and it's a point.

Harrison Burt doing some nice things for Sandy, Spargo, GWS Academy next year, starring for Murray. Game tempo's lifted.

This time H Brayshaw goals and the Dragons are back in front.

Hamish Brayshaw getting involved, kicks his first after intercepting a sloppy kick in defence by Murray. Maloney promptly kicks another for Sandy.

And a give from Ash Krakauer leads to another - 12 points to Sandy.

Half time and Sandy 6.6.42 to 4.6.30

Scores level as the Bushies get the first two goals of the half.

My boy Brayshaw H puts the Dragons back in front.

Goal to Goy Lok from Sudan.

Dragons lead by 10 points after a goal by Ash Krakauer seconds before the siren. 62-52.

McGrath has a habit of lifting when his team needs it. 11 touches in the qtr from the top 5 prospect. Scrimshaw good too. Burt's had 20 touches, most have been effective.
