Happy 50th Todd

Can someone create a time machine so Jack and Todd can play against each other. Who would win that battle?

Also Happy Birthday Todd!

At the moment, Jack is better. 25 years ago Todd was better. Seems pretty obvious to me.

yep great player,ย  loved his ball-up midfield drives towards goal with ball in hand.ย  my type of player.ย  not too shabby for a tennis player. ;)

I used to love Todd so much I convinced my parents to fork out considerable $$ for tennis lessons with him back in the day.ย

He advertised in what was then the MFC newspaper.. I still remember being shocked that his home phone number was just publicly available like that, and can also recall how nervous I was when I called for the first time.

What I don't remember - at all - is anything he taught me about tennis, a game I had noย interest in playing, but if he was still giving lessons, I'd probably still be a star-struck student.ย

If Jack was doing something similar - heck, even if he was selling tupperware -ย I'd probably sign up for that too.ย

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.
