Guest Posted March 19, 2016 Posted March 19, 2016 Is painful to think about now as a lot of Jim's battle was so public. 'My Journey' was the second (it may be number one now) most gut wrenching book I have ever read. Knowing that Jimmy was let down by many and hearing of his emotional and physical suffering nearly left me in tears.
DeeMfc 621 Posted March 20, 2016 Posted March 20, 2016 I would like to think he is looking down with a big smile at the current works in progress at our beloved Demons.
Redlegs Too 106 Posted March 20, 2016 Posted March 20, 2016 He was the reason I went from being a supporter to a member, I hope he has cause to dance a few Irish Jigs this year.
Demonland 74,809 Posted March 20, 2016 Posted March 20, 2016 I ran over the Jim Stynes bridge during the Run 4 the Kids 16km event this morning. I touched the plaque as I passed it as a sign of respect. I had no idea it was 4 years today when I did that.
