Born 21 November 1915 at Clifton Hill. Demon legend.

Hoping the Curse had a 50 year use-by on it.

A true legend of the club and of the game.

Shockingly treated - please forgive us, Norm.

I hope the Board Members who sacked Norm are in an eternal World of Pain...

6 Flags & not once has a Player from the MFC gone close to winning the Medal named in your honour....

Gives me the sh!ts....

One day just by pure chance we'll come across some anniversary that actually breaks the Curse. Hopefully this is it.

I hope the Board Members who sacked Norm are in an eternal World of Pain...

6 Flags & not once has a Player from the MFC gone close to winning the Medal named in your honour....

Gives me the [censored]....

Sir you have omitted the 4 flags he played in as well! Unless I have my history wrong.

The saddest thing of all is that Norm at the end of his life had totally severed all ties with the club.
He was added to the board as a non voting member pending an election but the members didn't think it was appropriate to add our all time greatest figure to their numbers.
I'm glad we're treating people with a little more courtesy (in that I refer to the initial firing) these days but our record in that regard post 1965 if you look at it holistically has been ordinary to say the least.

Sir you have omitted the 4 flags he played in as well! Unless I have my history wrong.

i did to. Apologies Norm....
