enough is enough

we are in our last chances of winning some recruits from up western Sydney, but they woill go elsewhere IF we keep sledging scully through his namesake thread

if we want to be in a position to gain the services of some players who may want to come home to Melbourne city, but have the choice of going to the Tigers, Demons, Hawks, essendope, Pies, et al; the ones we want may just choose to go to others, rather than to us...

I would like to see Shiel in red&blue, but we know he has contacts everywhere. time for a fresh attitude to our future, rather than the passed.

Yeah because Demonland will really dictate whether or not players come to Melbourne.

I still have an unnatural wish for a melbourne player to take an 8 week suspension and just flat out smash him in the face. Can't excuse it or justify it, but it's still there.

He's a scumbag as far as I'm concerned. He's a very average player running around on 750k per annum. Good gig if you can get it.

There is no T$cully thread other than this one which is an embarrassment.

Please close this thread down mods.

The No T$ no BS thread is not a T$cully thread and IMO would appeal to the intellectual type of modern footballer we need.

It must be kept.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
