Sometimes the term 'spin' cops a bad rap.

All it is, is someone's version of the truth.

What's most refreshing about PJ is his admission that the club betrayed its supporters.

I hope he strikes a chord with a few (thousands).

honestly what should have pj said, actually no one sign up let as die, after 1996 when the hawks said no to being taken over by the dees, signed up 50000 members, it was a best part of ten years, before they became a powerhouse, and not once did their membership drop off.

They had success in the late 80's and early 90's.

It would've been more concerning that their members dropped off in the first place.

We are in a far dire position currently than Hawthorn were in 96

Demonland is like the Unibomber Manifesto. A bizzare rant which makes virtually no sense. As another poster highlighed there are people who post as though writing a ransom note.

PJ, should have said as he did say... he was spot on.

  • PREVIEW: Brisbane

They really had me fooled when I picked them with great confidence to beat the Bombers at Gather Round last week. I should have recognised that nothing is more quintessentially Melbourne than defeating the undefeated early premiership favourite one week and losing to a winless cellar dweller on its way to establishing a record losing streak the next.
