Any suggestions for our options in pre season draft (PSD)

Why do people feel compelled to even mention this guy, he was rubbish the first time, move on people.

Who does Venom Denom support anyway?

West Coast

Get a train on squad of delisted and undrafted players. Obviously the undrafted players are hard to pick but we've already heard some names from the delisted pile.

I'm talking guys like Tom Ledger (St Kilda), Mav Weller (GC), Callum Bartlett (Bris), Jeremy Laidler (Carl), Matt Thomas (Port).

Right now I'm thinking if we only have 3 main draft picks we are best to use the PSD on the best of the kids leftover. But that depends if we make list movements to move on guys like Magner, Nicholson and Jetta.

It would be nice if the Docherty deal didn't get done. He would be handy.

I don't reckon brissy can manage to find trades for all those OOC kids who want out this year, so one of them could end up available.... Agree Docherty being probably the nicest fit for us.

It will be interesting as there are still plenty of players to yet finalise contracts. And a little birdy has told me we have been in TA's ear

TA? Taylor Adams? Might happen, now that the GWS are playing hard ball. Nice to see expansion clubs standing up to Eddie and his media circus. Hopefully was can pick up the crumbs.

It may end up happening but currently that's a lie. There are about 16 clubs ahead on where Taylor would like to go. Tyson coming might have helped, but Adams specifically told his manager to not enough discuss with us... He has no interest so let it go.

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
