Demons chasing a swag of 2nd round picks

Featured Replies

Thank-you I'm not every bodies cup of tea - I'm sorry about that. I have just a passion for the game and enjoy a bit of fun. I accept some people take it very seriously and at times I may upset them - not my intention.

Anonymity does not worry me because I would say 100% to your face what I would say in this forum. Many of my views are just that - my views and again I accept may not be the views of others, but they consistently follow me around and hound me. They want all the answers spoon feed on a plate - sorry I dont have all the answers.

Thanks all the same for your kind words.

PS Maybe what makes me different is I follow every club - But I just happen to barrack for the Dees.

Talking to yourself is never a great look. And a word of advice...if as you say, you are expressing your views, it is probably a good idea not to make the thread title appear to be a statement of fact, but rather make it a question such as "Are the Dees chasing a swag of...etc etc".

I suspect thats a very high possibility around here - hence my comments "muppets" & "newspaper boys" please hit ignore. But I have faith all is not lost.

Re your other comments - no comment.

Personally I am not any more put off by Rassillons comments than I am of Olilsks trade rumours and proposals or RPFCs love affair with JV :P.

However Rass you might want to 'ease' away from the Think about it, or 'Try harder' type comments as it can tend to come off as being denegrating.

Point taken - I'm not a spoon feeder & I do have to watch my words.

I don't think anyone is upset with you having an opinion, i think it's you stating your opinion as fact, or doing so at first, then saying it's just your opinion

I think a little bit of thought, should be done before, starting a new topic.

Not, enough, commas, in, there, buddy!

WTF!?! So this thread is purely about some feeling you have, with no info, source, or even rumors to back it up?!

Isn't that the same for ever thread on demonland lol

To anyone who thinks this guy knows anyone or has inside knowledge - he doesn't.

When HWFUA was on his way to The Promised Land this bloke was adamant that he was off to Richmond.

He lives in an alternate reality and as I live in this reality the two are merging and if you have watched Fringe - that is not a good thing.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.
