Who would be a required player as of Round 2's performance ?

I heard Moloney didn't want to go either, in fact he was shattered. Wasn't he on a trip at the time he was told he was the one being traded?

What I'd give to have Bartel or Jordan Lewis as captain of this club... Says a lot, as they aren't and won't ever be captains of their own clubs, shows just how strong the leadership is at the top.

Clark, Howe, Magner, Trengove, Jones.

If you think I live in a rosy world, it just shows how wrong you are & I am offended by your personal attack. I know from personal experience how trauma can affect performance. Maybe it is you who live in the rosy world if you can't understand.

It's not my intention to offend you so apologies for that. But, this playing group has not improved one iota in 4 years. And players within that have had many, many opportunities to show leadership and resilience and rise up against adversity. We have played a lot of 'backs to the wall' type games and been hammered in nearly every one.

I personally am sick of it. I want to see players having a go.

Explain to me how a player like Magner can come in and be our best player two weeks running?? It's a sad indictment on the playing group. And the rhetoric of Brad Green and Moloney is worth zilch, zippo, nothing. " The players are really hurt and we know we have to put in a better performance" Really?? Ha, I have yet to see it. They have no ticker. Geez North play like that every week - they are hardly blessed with a lot more natural talent than we are. But their culture is to be admired.

If not for Jimmy and the members who contributed money this club would have been close to folding. Is that desperate enough for you?

Oh no let's give em a while to settle in....

The question I have is if we

Playing group has not improved is pretty close to the mark as a whole. The days of 100 point losses should be LONG gone.

The question I have is if we were at 'base camp' in 2010, where the hell are we now.

Digging a dirty great hole so that those who cant or dont wanna climb the next level can stay at base and go crap in it?

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
