Based on what i've seen so far...early days...dees won't get higher than 14th.

It is possible the bottom 5 will not change, maybe just the order they are in. Port have midfield far more advanced than ours and will more than likely win more games than us. Sad but true!

Holidays will be booked very soon. I won't miss much this year. I can still see the coach's pressers online.

What a superb final series that top 8 would bring!

Will not stay that way

Richmond and Dogs will move higher.

Both played top teams at the weekend they will finish higher.

The other three will be fighting it out with percentage to see who fills the last three spots.

I have a feeling that GWS might do better than expected

As do I. They showed some passion and determination. If they keep playing like that they will pip a few teams. The same cannot be said for at least one other team in the comp.

We were without a doubt the most disappointing team of the round.

The other two who were disappointing were St Kilda and the Gold Coast. I thought GC would be more competitive this year, but the way they played against Adelaide was not good at all.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
