Its the Offseason.....

Can't for work....can't next year either as I'm going overseas halfway.

Whats your job, would have thought it is illegal to fire someone for supporting charity?

Retail. Appropriate standard of dress is clean-shaven, and they were very touch-and-go about it. Wasn't willing to [censored] them off as it's bad enough this time of year. Bloody Christmas.

I'm currently sporting a lovely upper lip at present!

Feel free to look at my MoSpace and donate!

I think it's terrible (and bordering on discrimination) that any male outside the medical field should be forced to shave if they don't want to. Facial hair is something that every single man on the planet over the age of about twelve has to deal with, and those who (for whatever reason) choose not to make themselves look like they haven't hit puberty shouldn't have to.

The only time I ever cut my hair (facial or otherwise) is when it starts getting in the way. And that, IMO, is how it should be. I'm of the "Do What You Feel," Bart Simpson mould, in that regard. And when you add charity to the equation, then forcing someone to shave is even more ridiculous.

Back in the 80's I had a real PORN MO.

It rivalled Burt Reynolds and Magnum.

A white Mo looks pretty Shite these days.

Not uncommon in retail to be honest. There's a fairly conservative school of thought out there that says that stubble equals uncleanliness and it reflects poorly on the store. Depends from place to place, but there is only one guy who I work with who has one, and he has had it for 5+ years AND has to do that tie thing on it as it's normally fairly long, all because work says so.

If you can grow a beard without heading to work in the stubble stage then there's no issue...but in between is a no go.

"...outside the medical field..." ????

I am well and truly inside the medical field and I must say hospitals are covered in Mos!

Ha. I was merely referring to the importance of hygiene in the medical field, but I too know a few doctors with moustaches.

Forget the haunting of Round 11 — we’ve got this. Melbourne returns to its inner-city fortress for its milestone 100th AFLW match, carrying a formidable 10–2 record at IKON Stadium. Brisbane’s record at the venue is more balanced: 4 wins, 4 losses and a draw.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Geelong

It’s been a season of grit, growth, and glimpses of brilliance—mixed with a few tough interstate lessons. Now, with finals looming, the Dees head to Kardinia Park for one last tune-up before the real stuff begins.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
