We never hear from you when things are going well.

Please point out where Bailey was outcoached by Hardwick last week. What structures and match ups failed? The floor is yours.

It would have been more pertinent had you pointed out Bailey's failings against Richmond straight after the win last week, but you have had 6 days to think about it, maybe watched the replay once or twice, please indulge us, i'm expecting a detailed analysis

The point I made in a previous thread is that our losses become more insipid by the week!I'm not worried about Baileys coaching when were winning and everyone's up and about but instead when were getting pumped... he shows no flexibility or imagination and the way we meekly surrender is embarrassing!unfortunately you can't be a successful afl coach if you're only good when things are going well!Bailey can't change momentum and that's what's killing us this year!!and in terms of not hearing from me when were going well-you do your credibility no favors when you make statements with untrue facts!

You are getting caught up with the biweekly emotion to losses. If you wanted a better balanced view of this you would have waited till end of season where all performances could be judged and team progress measured. This sack the coach thread after every week shows a propensity to be caught up in the emotion rather than a balanced view. Young team equals ups and downs that's the fact...You know that but you are letting emotion cloud your judgement.

Gotzy, can you please put a space after you use a , or .

It makes it really hard to read wht you are writing.

The coaching and match ups last night were terrible. McKenzie should have gone to Griffen, the guy had 10+ possessions first quarter. We played a front running game style against the best front running club in the AFL (we would be close second), Yet the week before I think he got the match ups so right.

Will Bailey coach next year, I'm not sure. I sort of feel some loyalty to him since he has done the right thing by the club in bottoming out and re-building.

I'm not sure we couldn't have won last night if we were better matched up around the ground .That said I like what Bailey has done with the list .

Morton , Mckenzie and Gysberts can be pushed off it too easily NOW .

I want us to win NOW and avoid losing -EVER

Would we have lost with Green ,Moloney ,Jones .Sylvia ,Jamar ,Trengrove as followers ?

I dont think so .Worried about Gysberts' disappearances when we get done .

Bigger bodies on the ball .

No OUTSIDE players selected ever .Sorry Cale

NO tagging Scully ever- ie -smash the tag all the time (hard)

Play Bate over Morton (one on one strength)

Don't give us lame excuses about 6 day breaks .

Green on the Ball if we cant get it out makes sense .

No good Having Silvia ,Trengrove ,Green in the forward line when we could not win a clearance .

How can you let a career cream-puff like Giansiracusa get Four then?

Love Baileys list but on game day he does make some glaring mistakes .

Why do we have to have this poll after every loss? Bailey's position will be reviewed at the end of season. The speculation on his future runs parallel to the "rollercoaster" (jeez, I'm getting sick of that term!). Do people actually do this poll after every loss? FFS!

I hope it doesn't but it probably will, IMO Bailey out, Malthouse in or at least an experienced coach with success. Clarkson would be good, ex-player and back with Viney, in fact the more I think about it Clarkson would be good fit at Demons.

I'm sick of the term 'rollercoaster', it's too American. Like the Americanisms that have crept into our game such as ' goal assists', 'turnover' etc.

Let's use 'big dipper' instead. It's Aussie.

Melbourne had the chance to take a big step last night but failed

Bailey is the coach he must shoulder some of the responsibility but not all. Some of our on field leaders were glaringly absent again last night when needed.

We have been dumbed down to accept performances last night as a fact of the Melbourne football side.

The season is not over yet and I honestly believe that on any given day when Melbourne produces its best form they can take the fight to anyone.

Unfortunately, that is what now is needed, to gain that credibility in the team where as a win last night would have been that step that was needed.

In the next three weeks we play Port , Hawks and Geelong

Port is winnable the other two most would say almost impossible.

However that is what Melbourne now needs to do. Knock of one or two big names in a match

If Melbourne can do that I believe Bailey will stay, however any more performences like last night and I think he will be in trouble.

Unfortunately on paper at least that's what Bailey looks like he is in for!
