LEADING FROM THE BACK

Ā

Ive been very critical of Jareds form over the journey and im still not totally convinced but I will give credit and applause where due. He seems to have ditched his nonchalance and niggly attitude and regained some semblance of his early form.

Hope he keeps it that way. He's picked up half the yard he lost but it worries me as to how permanent this might be. i.e how succeptible to a relapse etc etc.

Currently hes playing better than decent footy. Again, hope that stays that way.

Doubt id ever join his bandwagon but will clap as it passes !

For god's sake don't put him on a leading forward. That's all I have to say.

Ā

Another leader coming from a low base.

If he continues his form then that is great but as he concedes - he isn't a natural leader.

He is contributing and I hope it continues.

Of everyone in the leadership group*, he and Jones have been our most consistent this year. Both have actually stepped up this year.

*excluding poor Grimsey, the cursed child!

Put him on Cloke

Happy now ??? Lol

I knew I'd regret applauding this guy. Shown to be passed it as goes the game currently. He still thinks with a good footy brain but has neither the leg speed or real body on body winning game.

Fool me once shame on you, fooled me twice shame on me.

Shop him around for whatever we can get pick wise and try and use some value combing etc.

27 , you're times up I'm afraid.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.
