Anyone know what Jurrah did?

I don't want to bring McKenzie back too early, but if he plays well then he could be used as the sub.

Dunno, thought Dunn was actually reported by the ump then and there too.

probably executed the perfect tackle thats all it takes these days

Some harsh criticism of Bartram in the 3 word analysis.. "taught a lesson".. By whom? He was not on Edwards when he when he was on fire. Jones was on Edwards at that stage. Then Frawley after that. I thought Bartram was one of our best in terms of having a crack and trying to provide some run. I'm sure he knows he is not the best option carrying the ball through the middle, but when your teammates stop running, sometimes you have no option..

Batram was on Harvey I thought. He was ok yesterday, provided some run. He is always accountable which I like. Davey was the one taught a lesson!

I thought Bail was on Harvey, and really towelled him up until injured, after which Harvey broke loose. Bail definitely has his measure. And I thought they had Garland on Edwards most of the time in 2nd qtr, which would explain why Edwards was on his own so much because Garland could hardly walk let alone run.

Bartram was on Harvey and did a good job, Harvey got his usual cheap kicks. Bail was on Wells.

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

Not long ago, the narrative surrounding Melbourne was steeped in pessimism. There was some concern among the pundits (and even some fans) that the club would arrive at the AFL’s Gather Round still winless, vulnerable to a familiar adversary in the Essendon Football Club, and facing significant scrutiny from an ever-critical media on a national stage. Things have changed.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

Steven King astutely identified the issues that had plagued the Melbourne Football Club over the past two and a half seasons when he auditioned for the newly created coaching role. The side that had claimed the 2021 premiership had become stodgy, slow-paced, and hesitant to take the initiative.
