Take the 3 points and give the ball back to Brady with 2 minutes left?

Don't poke the bear

On that last drive GB's lack of a running game shown up again.  The opposition know we had to throw it and plan accordingly

Too one dimensional

The coach calling has been below par by the Packers.  But Tampa have been too good anyway despite Brady being intercepted 3 times

Thus,  the Packers have had their chances on offence ... but the last 3 drives yielded just 3 points.  No decisive running game being the biggest issue and the defence is average

Agree on the calling. Been some weird calls.

Well done to Tampa ... they go to the SB in their home town after winning 3 games on the road in the playoffs

13 years in the wilderness.  Brady comes to town and they're at the big dance

Cracking contest. In the office today so watched on mute but I loved the way the game was being officiated UNTIL it was officiated. The spirit of the game was great for most of it just letting them play but then going against all that with some eyebrow raising calls. Definitely would have backed Aaron in on 4th down, I know Tom had started getting jittery so I sort of get it but I think they just had to go for broke there.

Amazing what Tampa have been able to do, Arians has done a great job.

Just a reminder that we play for 10 points in the SB (5 for the win & 5 for the right margin)

As for the 2 out in front, who blinks first!  haha

In actual fact, 5 participants can still win outright with 6 combos available (Tampa 13+ anyone?)

I'll post up the highlights from the NFL later but in the meantime this NFL Primetime upload should be available for a few hours ... nice to see Boomer front & centre again

straight swap with Goff?

Rodgers is peeved but I reckon once things settle down he'll remain a Packer

LaFleur is the one that will be feeling the heat even though he gets a bit of grace considering it's his 2nd year as head ciach

He made some amateurish calls under pressure but I reckon he stays on (for now)

The underlying issue is structural & player personnel ... defence against the run & pass defence remains average and our running game can't be relied on.  Jones should be the no.2 not the main man

Fournette was the difference between the 2 sides yesterday.  Each of his runs impacted

We ask too much of Rodgers so it stands to reason that Aaron expects to be the main man all the time

Drafting a QB (Jordan Love) in the first round of the draft last year should be looked upon as a smart insurance move by all & sundry (including Rodgers himself)

And you can keep Goff!  haha

Yeah jones needs another, Dillon looked decent at times this year.

If Goff is to remain then we draft bulls at the OLine position, have to. Akers taking the next step will also help Goff as the run game is the first and most important piece of the McVay offence, but if they can I reckon they try and move him on.

We'll have to wait and see. I don't think he'll leave this year with Green Bay's window open and a coach who's proven to be an excellent play caller. I dunno, there'd have to be a bit to happen to make it a possibility.

I’d be stunned if he did, but if he did and came to the Rams I’d be throwing a party.

    BLOODY BLUES by Meggs

The conclusion to Narrm’s home and away season was the inevitable let down by the bloody Blues  who meekly capitulated to the Bombers.   The 2024 season fixture handicapped the Demons chances from the get-go with Port Adelaide, Brisbane and Essendon advantaged with enough gimme games to ensure a tough road to the finals, especially after a slew of early season injuries to star players cost wins and percentage.     As we strode confidently through the gates of Prin

Melbourne’s most important player who dominated the first half of the season until his untimely injury in the Kings Birthday clash put an end to his season. At the time, he was on his way to many personal honours and the club in strong finals contention. When the season did end for Melbourne and Petracca was slowly recovering, he was engulfed in controversy about a possible move of clubs amid claims about his treatment by the club in the immediate aftermath of his injury. LIVE AND LET DIE by Meggs

The Demons’ impressive late season charge to finals will most likely come unstuck this Saturday evening when the Bombers blow up the also-ran Blues in the Ikon Park double-header.   To mangle McCartney, what does it matter to ya? To have any chance to play next week Narrm has got a job to do and needs to do it well.  We’ve got to give the Pie sheilas hell, say live and let die! It’s Indigenous Round for this game and the chance to celebrate and engage with Aboriginal and Torres
