No idea. Gurley must have a complaint, they have underused him... although going by the absurd yards in this game, it makes sense...

WHat an incredible game. I'm barracking for a Mahomes drive here ending in a FG to take it to overtime.

35 pts came from turnovers, three TD’s directly from strip and sack.

Wow! ... will watch later.

Big win in the whole scheme of things for the Rams.  The 2 seed is there for the taking but you'd need the Saints to slip up to get to the 1 seed

That's the crazy thing. There actually was. Donald, Houston... Mahomes had somethign like 5 turnovers...

That's one of the best games I've seen in my time watching the sport.

Yeah I was only catching up with the scores because of work Dappa but the numbers were ticking over like an odometer.  I just got home and have taped the game so am eager to watch.

This is the new NFL hey ... the best teams are just racking up the big scores.  And the defense is another offense.  Seattle started that trend with the 'Legion of Boom' and it is being continued on by the looks of it.

To be honest I wasn’t upset with the way our D played, the KC offence is bloody good and we would get them into decent situations and up pops Kelcie or Hunt, still think come Jan, these teams need to tighten their D’s up. I still think Steelers and Pats will prove a massive mountain to the chiefs.

Both Goff and PM both got shaky for big chunks of time in the last and will need to quell that in Jan.

Per ESPN Stats & Info, Ebukam became the first player with a sack, an interception, and multi touchdowns in a single game since the sack became an official stat in 1982.

Points remain scarce for all and we've only got 6 weeks to go ... only the 1 point available this week but any point is invaluable of course.

To use racing parlance we've travelled 1200m into the 2000m WFA Classic with JV & Gonzo leading the field upon settling down.  Layz is sitting right behind the leaders in the ideal spot whilst GtB,  Clint,  Dappa,  DZ & the master are sitting on the speed ready to make their runs.

And then we have the swoopers from the back (titan,  Gorg,  Macca & Dave) who have had the easy runs sitting off the speed.  Gorg (with Jared Goff on board) is the renowned strong finisher amongst the backmarkers so it's anyone's race!  We've past 'Chiquita Lodge'

Good luck all!

Leaderboard in the comp

6 - JV7,  Dr. Gonzo

5 - layzie

4 - Go the Biff,  Clintosaurus,  Dappa Dan,  Dee Zephyr,  DeeSpencer

3 - titan_uranus,  Gorgoroth,  Macca,

2 - DemonDave

Wow Gorg! Just wow. What an amazing game of football. 10 touchdowns between the two QBs

Many were wondering how the Chiefs defensive front would go against the Rams O-line. They found it tough early on. Rushing 4 and blitzing didn’t work, but they slowly worked their way into it. On the other D front Donald was just spectacular, lights out stuff. Ebukam played the game of his life and it was fitting when Peters got that pick late in it.

Goff was very good, Cooks and co were great. Man that was just so awesome to watch. You’d be pretty happy with that!

If this is the Superbowl and is half as entertaining as this, it’ll be a classic.

Yeah the big three as far as I'm concerned, Rams, KC and Saints all have either good D or great D. I had the Rams winning today based on preferring their D over KCs... And that's how it ended up going.

It takes intestinal fortitude to pick fault with two QBs who just engineered the third highest scoring game in history. lol

I'm with you though. Mahomes limits his turnovers, even just has 3 instead of 5... what happens then...

Dayum that was a game. My head is still spinning. They'll be talking about that for years... instant folklore/legend.

It’s the little things that win you the ring.

Both are young, both will get better at it, but at this moment both felt the heat.

Gurley got tackled where the players rolls on his knee/ankle from behind. Wonder if he tweaked something. It was early in second I think.

We didn’t run the ball in the last 11:04 of the game...

Thats insane.

He has to be injured.

Think there’s possibly something to that. Season low 12 carries. I know McVay was going ballistic with the play calling but gee wiz.

Not a good day for the fantasy peeps!

Hey Gorg I couldn't find your post where you compared McCarthy to Fisher but were you being serious?

Fisher no playoff series vs McCarthy with at least 8 playoff series,  3 NFC Championship games and a SB win.  McCarthy is miles off Belichick but so are most Head coaches

Fisher is more like Neeld ... correction,  Neeld is way worse.

I reckon GB can do better than McCarthy however so it is all relative and context has to be factored in.

It is fair to say that McCarthy leans on A-Rod far too much but Fisher did not want to use Goff at all - didn't rate the young gun.

How do you rate McVay?

How does McCartney? GB should be much better over the last few years. How did Fisher last as long as he did?

NFL keeps some coaches much longer than they should and others get chopped much earlier than realistic.

@Macca

this was in reply to the “How does Garrett still have a job” quote about 4 pages back.

McVay, I think is a very smart guy who knew his strength and knew his weakness. He bows to Phillips for now a bit but is learning that side of the game.

I think McVay is smart enough to mould his play calling to what he has, Fisher had the same game plan every single game every single year. But Fisher was also 1yrd away from winning the 2000SB vs the Rams. He relied on his D to win games, McVay is using a same set offence to run nearly every single play.

That makes sense then Gorg ... I couldn't remember your exact wording.

I would do a full review,  put in some different people around McCarthy and then put him on notice.  But not sack him

If things don't improve in the next 12 months you then make the move.  His record on the back of a supreme Rodgers previously gets him a bit more time.

But if I was an opposition fan I might think differently but there are no consequences for opposition fans

Do opposition fans want GB to be successful? ?

It’s not that I want you successful, I just see Rodgers being frustrated and I think [censored] off at they way the team is being ran at the min.
