I'll put my tips in soon enough but I might be tempted to pick the Falcons on Friday - or is it a trap game JV7?

Should be a good game all the same - a lot of the Thursday night games are divisional games so we at least see a fierce match-up despite the players often being a bit off the boil. I can't see why the league can't match up the byes with these games.

Yeah I'm a little worried about this weeks game vs the saints. We were terrible against Washington and some how pulled out the win but our games against the saints are always hard fought, Brees in the super dome is never easy even though their record at home of late is average. I'm not so confident, have a feeling we're due for a loss but the away picks this week aren't too easy!

I'm interested in the browns/Broncos game, we play the Browns next week but I think they might upset Denver. I was going to back them but this feeling of the pats and Broncos losing this week is in my head.

I think I need more sleep :)

Not one bit surprised by today's result. We got out of jail against the redskins a week earlier, we were due for a loss and the saints season was on the line. I'll pretend like it's good to get a loss out of the way haha.

Good to get the whole tipping thing outta the way early cheers Falcons. Pretty simple loss when you turn the ball over twice in the red zone.

Yeah the falcons turn overs were bad. How many dropped catches as well. It was like they had Vaseline on their hands.

Saints looked much better but I can't see them making up ground especially since they are 1-2 in their division.

Incredibly unlikely they win the division but the 2nd wildcard spot seem pretty open.

Who's looking at better than a 9 win season from (taking out the Packers and Cardinals):

NFC North - Vikings maybe

NFC East - whoever wins, plus Cowboys if they get hot late

NFC south - one of Carolina/Atlanta yes

NFC West - Seahawks capable, Rams possible

With 2 wins the Saints are now tied for the 2nd wildcard spot for wins. Going 7-3 and 9 wins isn't impossible if they start to clean up in the division. I love the wildcard system, it's going to be a good race in the AFC as well. Steelers, Chargers and Jets probably the favourites, but Bills, Browns, Raiders all in contention for a wildcard spot is fun for their fan bases.

Standout win was the Panthers winning in Seattle whilst the standout loss was Seattle losing and as a consequence now having a 2 & 4 record. The Jets are 4 & 1 and the Steelers are now 4 & 2.

Tomorrow's game is a huge game for both the Eagles & the Giants. A win or loss either way means a great deal of significance to the NFC East. Here's that final Panthers drive ...

Pretty impressive win by the panthers, that final drive from Cam shows when his fit and firing, his hard to stop! Don't think Seattle are what they used to be though. Anyone see the colts attempt at a trick play ? Quiet comical haha

Ha the colts play was hilarious. Steelers winning with a 3rd string QB against Arizona is huge. With seattle losing Arizona could've put a huge gap between them and everyone in their division. Green Bay keep on rolling and the vikes played bland but KC played even worse. The screen pass seems to be their only weapon with Charles out for the year.

I was looking at Seattle as they should win, but a div game can throw up surprises and Seattle haven't been great.

I'm torn on who I want to win, I think the niners as I think Seattle will win more games over the year.

Highly doubt the Rams will win more than Seattle and cards but I gotta hope.

I'm staying away from the Bills in a London game with a chance their QB isn't right.

Falcons

Vikings

Didn't know that... Hmmm do I change...

Nah stuff it, I'll stay the course. Go Bills!!!

I'm home today so I'll get to watch the game live, really hoping for a close game.

Seattle

Atlanta

Pittsburgh

Wow, the niners look very very poor, very poor. At one stage Seattle had 6 first downs to niners 5 total yards.

Other than Hyde, the niners offence isn't even there.

The 49ers look a shadow of their former selves .. their offense just doesn't work at all.

Seattle on the other hand could get on a roll ... next up @ Dallas (minus Romo and probably Bryant) then their bye week followed by 3 games in a row at home (Arizona, San Francisco, Pittsburgh)

That division is far from decided with Arizona coming back to the field a bit ... the Rams have a chance to gain ground too - next 4 ... vs Cleveland, vs 49ers, @ Minnesota and then vs Chicago.

Cleveland we must win, niners we must win, vikes will be hard, Chicago I'm not sure about.

We need to win three of the next four if we are to have a small chance of getting a wildcard.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.

  • CASEY: Williamstown

The Casey Demons issued a strong statement to the remaining teams in the VFL race with a thumping 76-point victory in their Elimination Final against Williamstown. This was the sixth consecutive win for the Demons, who stormed into the finals from a long way back with scalps including two of the teams still in flag contention. Senior Coach Taylor Whitford would have been delighted with the manner in which his team opened its finals campaign with high impact after securing the lead early in the game when Jai Culley delivered a precise pass to a lead from Noah Yze, who scored his first of seven straight goals for the day. Yze kicked his second on the quarter time siren, by which time the Demons were already in control. The youngster repeated the dose in the second term as the Seagulls were reduced to mere

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Collingwood

Narrm time isn’t a standard concept—it’s the time within the traditional lands of Narrm, the Woiwurrung name for Melbourne. Indigenous Round runs for rounds 3 and 4 and is a powerful platform to recognise the contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in sport, community, and Australian culture. This week, suburban footy returns to the infamous Victoria Park as the mighty Narrm take on the Collingwood Magpies at 1:05pm Narrm time, Sunday 31 August. Come along if you can.

  • AFLW REPORT: St. Kilda

The Dees demolished the Saints in a comprehensive 74-pointshellacking.  We filled our boots with percentage — now a whopping 520.7% — and sit atop the AFLW ladder. Melbourne’s game plan is on fire, and the competition is officially on notice.

  • REPORT: Collingwood

It was yet another disappointing outcome in a disappointing year, with Melbourne missing the finals for the second consecutive season. Indeed, it wasn’t even close, as the Demons' tally of seven wins was less than half the number required to rank among the top eight teams in the competition. When the dust of the game settled and supporters reflected on Melbourne's  six-point defeat at the hands of close game specialists Collingwood, Max Gawn's words about his team’s unfulfilled potential rang true … well, almost.
