Limmer with a stupid penalty.

AD should punch him in the face when he comes to the bench.

Just cost us a very good shot at a second TD.

Rams offence is purring. but for the personal foul 15 yard penalty would have highly likely been another TD

Rams defence supreme

Sacks, interceptions and pressuring Darnold constantly.  Secondary well on top as well

Penalties are starting to hurt us.

You should be further ahead on the scoreboard.  Vikings have been ordinary (by their own standards)

Darnold having a nightmare game

Our D is standing up, shame we couldn't stop them on the third down there. A stop here would be massive.

This game is very close to done. Viks just not at the races

I'm still nervous and will be away from the screen for the second half.

Just following on B/R and after that FG the heart rate is down around 100 now...

PS I have a resting heart rate of 60ish

Oh I don't know, I enjoyed today 😂😃

Since the expansion of the playoffs only 5 of 30 games have been decided by 7 points or less in the wildcard weekend

Love didn't look right but the Packers had the option of playing Willis

But in all reality, getting past a top outfit like the Eagles on their turf was always a tall order for a team like the Packers

In that situation you need a few things going your way like a pick 6 or recovering a fumble.  Or a magical play or 2, leading to a TD or 2

And none of that happened.  Scoring only 10 points told the story

But the Packers should at least know what they need to do to become a genuine contender

Do you think Willis would have given you the best chance of winning Macca?

I'm afraid you're right about the Eagles though. They're a scary defense no matter who is at QB.

Despite a spirited third quarter surge, the Demons have slumped to their worst start to a season since 2012, remaining winless and second last on the ladder after a 39-point defeat to Essendon at Adelaide Oval in Gather Round.

It’s Game Day, and the Demons are staring down the barrel of an 0-5 start for the first time since 2012 as they take on Essendon at Adelaide Oval for Gather Round. In that forgettable season, Melbourne finally broke their drought by toppling the Bombers. Can lightning strike twice? Will the Dees turn their nightmare start around and breathe life back into 2025?

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

As the focus of the AFL moves exclusively to South Australia for Gather Round, the question is raised as to what are we going to get from the  Melbourne Football Club this weekend? Will it be a repeat of the slop fest of the last three weeks that have seen the team score a measly 174 points and concede 310 or will a return to the City of Churches and the scene where they performed at their best in 2024 act as a wakeup call and bring them out of their early season reverie?  Or will the sleepy Dees treat their fans to a reenactment of their lazy effort from the first Gather Round of two years ago when they allowed the Bombers to trample all over them on a soggy and wet Adelaide Oval? The two examples from above tell us how fickle form can be in football. Last year, a committed group of players turned up in Adelaide with a businesslike mindset. They had a plan, went in confidently and hard for the football and kicked winning scores against both home teams in a difficult environment for visitors. And they repeated that sort of effort later in the season when they played Essendon at the MCG.
