is he a star now?

So if we troll through ancient demonland posts to find where you contradicted yourself, or made an incorrect prediction, will we find anything?

Fair dinkum occo, if you think you've shown us something we didn't know by being pessimistic about EVERY player on the list, then claiming you were right when SOME of them turn out to be duds, you're sadly mistaken.

Stop wasting room on the first page of the threads.

is he a star now?

Totally missed the point of this thread, what was it?

How quickly a player can go from Rooster to feather duster. ;)

Player goes from good player to average player in the space of two years - stop the press

Not in the sense of proving anyone wrong or not in making people look stupid

but i still find it interesting to read ancient threads and remind myself that carroll actually was a very good player and that things have changed so much since 06

is he a star now?

What is the point?

At the time in 2006 he was playing well!

I wish I had as much spare time as you a week out from Christmas!

is he a star now?

One guess...........

sincere apology to everyone who read this. I had a few family friends at this holiday house and demonland was open. While i was outside some of the guys came on and posted stuff on here. I can understand that this was stupid to leave it open and will take appropriate courses of action in future to restrict this from happening again. Again sorry to all those who read it

Dooh! Lesson learned!

No worries occo. No harm done.

No worries occo. No harm done.

Still it was interesting to see how a player with great potential to be anything in the space of around 2 years completely stuff it up. It's a good lesson in life for everyone. If a chance comes your way use it & cherish it because if you don't somebody else will...and chances very rarely come around a second time.

  • CASEY: Richmond

The match up of teams competing in our great Aussie game at its second highest level is a rarity for a work day Thursday morning but the blustery conditions that met the players at a windswept Casey Fields was something far more commonplace. They turned the opening stanza between the Casey Demons and a somewhat depleted Richmond VFL into a mess of fumbling unforced errors, spilt marks and wasted opportunities for both sides but they did set up a significant win for the home team which is exactly what transpired on this Anzac Day round opener. Casey opened up strong against the breeze with the first goal to Aidan Johnson, the Tigers quickly responded and the game degenerated into a defensive slog and the teams were level when the first siren sounded.

After five consecutive defeats, the Demons have now notched up back-to-back victories, comfortably accounting for the Tigers in the traditional ANZAC Eve clash. They surged to a commanding 44-point lead early in the final quarter before easing off the pedal, resting skipper Max Gawn and conceding the last four goals of the game to close out a solid 20-point win.

It's Game Day and the Demons return to the MCG to face the Tigers in their annual Blockbuster on ANZAC Eve for the 10th time. The Dees will be desperate to reignite their stuttering 2025 campaign and claim just their second win of the season. Can the Demons dig deep and find that ANZAC Spirit to snatch back to back wins?
